भदोही। यातायात जागरूकता माह नवम्बर-2024 के दृष्टिगत एसपी डॉ.मीनाक्षी कात्यायन के निर्देशन में सोमवार को यातायात प्रभारी के नेतृत्व में पुलिस टीम द्वारा जिला पंचायत बालिका इंटर कॉलेज में जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। जहां पर छात्राओं व गुरुजनों को यातायात नियमों की
जानकारी दी गई।
इस दौरान लोक गायक राजेश परदेसी द्वारा अपने गीतों के माध्यम से यातायात नियमों के पालन के लिए अपील की गई। प्रतिदिन यातायात पुलिस टीम व जनपदीय पुलिस द्वारा विभिन्न चौराहों व तिराहों पर भ्रमण कर वाहन चालकों को यातायात नियमों के पालन के लिए जागरूक किया जा रहा है। वाहन चालकों को यातायात नियमों के संबंध में जानकारी देते हुए नियमों के शत-प्रतिशत पालन के लिए जागरूक किया जा रहा है। वाहनों पर रेट्रोरिफ्लेक्टर लगाया जा रहा और पंपलेट बांटे जा रहे हैं। साथ ही यातायात नियमों का पालन न करने वाले वाहन चालकों के विरुद्ध प्रर्वतन की कार्रवाई करते हुए दो पहिया वाहन पर बिना हेलमेट व चार पहिया वाहन पर बिना सीट बेल्ट पहने यात्रा करने, वाहनों के नंबर प्लेटों पर अनाधिकृत रूप से जाति सूचक, धर्म सूचक व अन्य आपत्तिजनक टिप्पणी लिखें वाहनों, मॉडिफाई साइलेंसर का प्रयोग करने वाले वाहन चालकों, खतरनाक तरीके, तेज रफ्तार से वाहन चलाना वाले वाहन चालकों, नाबालिग द्वारा वाहन चलाने, रेसिंग एवं स्टंट बाईकर कार चालकों का चालान व तीन सवारी वाले दोपहिया वाहन तथा ड्रिंक एंड ड्राइविंग वाले वाहन चालकों की जा रही। आज कुल-760 वाहनों का नियमानुसार चालान किया गया।
