गांधीनगर में 100 से ज्यादा लड़कियां हुईं साइबर ठगी का शिकार, पुलिस कर रही जांच

Cyber criminals use your social media information to commit crimes. Recently a girl's WhatsApp was hacked and money was demanded from her friends and relatives. गांधीनगर: गुजरात के गांधीनगर से साइबर फ्रॉड का अजीब मामला सामने आया है। जहां पढ़ने वाली लड़कियों का व्हाट्सएप हैक कर दोस्तों-रिश्तेदारों से फीस भरने के लिए आर्थिक मदद मांगने का फर्जीवाड़ा पकड़ में आया है। शुरुआती जांच में 100 से ज्यादा लड़कियां साइबर फ्रॉड का शिकार बनी हैं।स्टेट साइबर क्राइम में एक लड़की द्वारा हेल्पलाइन 1930 नंबर पर दर्ज कराई गई शिकायत के आधार पर मध्य प्रदेश के एक छोटे से गांव से एक युवक को पकड़ा गया है। दरअसल इस धोखेबाज ने पढ़ने वाली लड़की का व्हाट्सएप हैक कर उसके रिश्तेदारों से फीस के लिए मदद के नाम पर पैसा मांगा। इस तरह 100 से ज्यादा लड़कियों को ठगे जाने की प्रारंभिक जानकारी सामने आई है। इस मामले में पुलिस ने प्रभात कुमार छोटेलाल गुप्ता नाम के आरोपी को मध्य प्रदेश के अनुपपुर जिले के बदरा गांव से गिरफ्तार किया है।जांच के दौरान एक मोबाइल नंबर और एसबीआई का एक बैंक खाता नंबर मिला, जिसमें फीस के नाम पर फर्जी तरीके से ऐंठा गया पैसा ट्रांसफर किया गया था। राज्य साइबर सेल की टीम अब आरोपी को स्कूल और कॉलेजों में पढ़ने वाली लड़कियों और युवतियों के नंबर कहां से मिले और वह व्हाट्सएप को कैसे हैक करता था, इस मामले की जांच में जुटी हुई है।गांधीनगर सीआईडी साइबर सेल के अधिकारी धर्मेंद्र शर्मा ने कहा कि आज के डिजिटल युग में साइबर अपराध तेजी से बढ़ रहे हैं। साइबर अपराधी अपराध करने के लिए आपकी सोशल मीडिया जानकारी का उपयोग करते हैं। हाल ही में एक लड़की का व्हाट्सएप हैक किया गया था और उसके दोस्तों-रिश्तेदारों से पैसे की मांग की गई। आरोपी ने पैसे अपने बैंक खाते में ट्रांसफर कर लिए। आरोपी को हमने गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। हमने इस मामले में एफआईआर दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है।
