This will not cause any problem to the drivers coming here. NMRC Executive Director Mahendra Prasad said that this is being done to promote electric vehicles. Actually, the authority's plan is to reduce the amount of carbon emissions in the city. For this, Noida Metro along with Noida Authority is also going to install EVs in the parking lot. This will reduce carbon emissions by 4.04 tonnes per e-car per year. Commuters will be benefited by installing EV charging stations in the parking lot. They will be able to park the car here and charge it. You can complete your journey with Metro. NMRC officials said that this parking space is available at 16 out of 21 stations. The agreements of the agencies that were operating these parking lots have expired. In this case, parking will be started afresh in these places too. Officials said that about 54 thousand people are traveling on this line daily. In view of the increasing ridership, there is a need for parking at the stations. Most of the parking spaces are full at Sector-51 station. Actually the level of pollution in Noida is continuously increasing. In such a way, efforts are being made to promote electric vehicles. There will be provision of EVs in 16 parking lots. Here people can park their vehicles and charge them. A separate company will be selected for charging. Payment will be made per unit for charging. If you talk about NMRC Metro, the number of passengers is constantly increasing. According to the figures for 2024-25, the rider ship has increased to 54,276. While in 2023-24 47,000, 36000 in 2022-23 and 15000 in 2021-22 rider ship.
