मोतीहारी पुलिस ने चलाया ऑपरेशन क्लीन, 30 दिनों में 26 इनामी अपराधियों ने किया आत्मसमर्पण,28 गिरफ्तार 

Motihari: Continuous efforts are being made to rein in criminals in Bihar. Under this, the police of East Champaran district has started ‘Operation Clean’ campaign to tighten the noose on criminals. The effect of this police campaign is now visible on the criminals. If we look at the police figures, in the last 30 days, 26 wanted criminals surrendered in the court, while 28 wanted criminals have been arrested. The district police has also given an ultimatum to the absconding criminals to surrender by the end of this month. The East Champaran (Motihari) police is also taking action to confiscate the property of the criminals who do not surrender after the court’s order. Motihari Superintendent of Police Swarn Prabhat had released a list in the month of November declaring rewards on 217 criminals across the district. These included criminals involved in heinous crimes like murder, robbery, dacoity, rape, dowry murder, Arms Act and attempt to murder. The Superintendent of Police had named the campaign for the arrest of wanted criminals as ‘Operation Clean’. Apart from the police of the police stations across the district, the list was handed over to DIU (District Intelligence Unit) and STF (Special Task Force) and an operation was launched to arrest the criminals. Superintendent of Police Swarn Prabhat tells IANS, “Instructions have also been given to assess the property of those absconding criminals, against whom the police has already carried out attachment and confiscation action, and to take action to confiscate it.”,मोतिहारी,: बिहार में अपराधियों पर लगाम लगाने को लेकर लगातार प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं। इसी के तहत पूर्वी चंपारण जिले की पुलिस ने अपराधियों पर शिकंजा कसने के लिए ‘ऑपरेशन क्लीन’ अभियान शुरू किया है। पुलिस के इस अभियान का असर अब अपराधियों में दिखने लगा है।पुलिस के आंकड़ों पर गौर करें तो पिछले 30 दिनों में 26 इनामी अपराधियों ने अदालत में सरेंडर कर दिया, जबकि 28 इनामी अपराधियों की गिरफ्तरी की गई है। जिला पुलिस द्वारा फरार अपराधियों को इस माह के अंत तक सरेंडर करने के लिए अल्टीमेटम भी दिया गया है। सरेंडर नहीं करनेवाले अपराधियों की संपत्ति को पूर्वी चंपारण (मोतिहारी) पुलिस अदालत के आदेश के बाद कुर्की जब्ती की कार्रवाई भी कर रही है।मोतिहारी के पुलिस अधीक्षक स्वर्ण प्रभात ने बीते नवंबर महीने में जिलेभर के 217 अपराधियों पर इनाम घोषित करते हुए सूची जारी की थी। इनमें हत्या, लूट, डकैती, दुष्कर्म, दहेज हत्या, आर्म्स एक्ट और हत्या के प्रयास जैसे जघन्य वारदात में संलिप्त अपराधियों को शामिल किया गया था।इनामी अपराधियों की गिरफ्तारी के लिए पुलिस अधीक्षक ने अभियान का नाम ‘ऑपरेशन क्लीन’ रखा था। जिलेभर के थानों की पुलिस के अलावा डीआईयू (डिस्ट्रिक्ट इंटेलिजेंस यूनिट) और एसटीएफ (स्पेशल टास्क फोर्स) को इसकी सूची सौंपी गई और अपराधियों की गिरफ्तारी के लिए ऑपरेशन शुरू किया गया।पुलिस अधीक्षक स्वर्ण प्रभात आईएएनएस को बताते हैं, ” वैसे फरार अपराधी, जिनके यहां पुलिस के द्वारा कुर्की जब्ती की कार्रवाई की जा चुकी है, उनकी संपत्ति का आकलन करा कर जब्त करने की कार्रवाई करने के भी निर्देश दिए गए हैं।”,This step of the police, along with forcing the criminals to surrender before the law, also gives the message that the property acquired from crime will not be safe. He claimed that the ‘Operation Clean’ campaign of Motihari Police is not only a warning to the criminals, but it also shows that Bihar Police has now become fully active to get the criminals punished severely for their deeds. He said that this campaign can reduce the crime rate not only in Motihari but in the whole of Bihar.

पुलिस का यह कदम अपराधियों को कानून के सामने आत्मसमर्पण करने के लिए मजबूर करने के साथ ही यह संदेश भी देता है कि अपराध से अर्जित संपत्ति सुरक्षित नहीं रहेगी। मोतिहारी पुलिस की इस सक्रियता से जिले में अपराधियों के बीच खलबली मची हुई है और अपराधियों के सरेंडर करने की संख्या लगातार बढ़ रही है। पुलिस प्रशासन की इस सख्त कार्रवाई से यह साफ संदेश गया है कि अपराधी चाहे जितनी भी कोशिशें करें, पुलिस उनकी हर एक चाल को नाकाम कर देगी।पुलिस अधीक्षक कहते हैं कि पुलिस के इस अभियान का परिणाम है कि स्थानीय जनता में पुलिस के प्रति विश्वास बढ़ रहा है। लोग अब पुलिस के साथ सहयोग करने को तत्पर हैं और पुलिस को सूचना देने में भी आगे आ रहे हैं। इसके परिणामस्वरूप अपराधियों को पकड़ने में मदद मिल रही है।उन्होंने दावा करते हुए कहा कि मोतिहारी पुलिस का ‘ऑपरेशन क्लीन’ अभियान न केवल अपराधियों के लिए एक चेतावनी है, बल्कि यह भी दर्शाता है कि बिहार पुलिस अब अपराधियों को उनकी करतूतों के लिए कड़ी सजा दिलवाने के लिए पूरी तरह से सक्रिय हो चुकी है। उन्होंने कहा कि इस अभियान से न केवल मोतिहारी में बल्कि पूरे बिहार में अपराध की दर में कमी ला सकती है।
