10% Water Cut in Mumbai from Monday, 20 November 2023 to Saturday, 2 December 2023, for the replacement of air bladders at pneumatic gate system located in Pise weir

The pneumatic gate system installed at Pise Weir requires emergency repairs. The replacement of air bladders in the pneumatic gate system at Pise will be conducted from Monday, 20 November 2023, to Saturday, 2 December 2023.

During this period, water supply to the Mumbai Metropolitan City and BMC’s water supply to Thane & Bhiwandi Municipal Corporation will be affected.

Therefore, a 10% water cut will be implemented during the aforementioned period in the City of Mumbai and in the water supply by BMC to Thane & Bhiwandi Municipal Corporation.

All citizens are urged to take note and use water judiciously during the mentioned period. Citizen cooperation with the municipal administration during this period is requested.
