Mumbai: Senior members of CINTAA (Cine and TV Artists Association) visited the sets of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Anupamaa, both which are produced by ace producer Rajan Shahi under his banner Director’s Kut Production and Shahi Productions Pvt Ltd, respectively. With the festive vibe everywhere, it was almost destined as they wished the cast and crew of the superhit shows for Dhanteras and Diwali. They were welcomed with great enthusiasm on the set, making it a memorable occasion for all.During the visit, producer Rajan Shahi felicitated veteran actors Deepak Parashar, Poonam Dhillon, and Upasana Singh for their remarkable contributions to Indian television. The moment became even more special when Rajan shared a deeply personal connection with the association — revealing that his maternal grandfather, the legendary P. Jairaj, a pioneer of Indian cinema who made his debut in 1929 during the silent film era, was one of the founding members of CINTAA.The CINTAA members and the teams were pleasantly surprised and deeply moved to learn about this legacy. It was an emotional and proud moment for everyone, as Rajan spoke about how a poster of his grandfather is still displayed at the CINTAA office — a reminder of the roots that connect generations of artists. The felicitation of Rajendraji in front of the cast and crew added to the joy, making the day even more memorable.Rajan Shahi shared that his family’s artistic journey now spans four generations in the film and television industry, and in just four years, they will celebrate a century of legacy in Indian entertainment. He also congratulated the CINTAA team for being proactive in visiting sets and interacting personally with the artists and crew, fostering genuine togetherness and mutual respect across the fraternity.“There are many associations in the industry,” Rajan noted, “but what truly sets CINTAA apart is the feeling of unity and the spirit of working together towards the betterment of the entertainment community.He also extended heartfelt thanks to Poonam Dhillon, Upasana Singh, and Deepak Parashar for their warm visit.
