During the meeting, Shashi Sharma expressed his long-standing active service to the poor, the oppressed, and the needy and his deep concern about the increasing number of deaths in road accidents. Under this social responsibility, he proposed an ambitious pilot project called “Road Safety Shield” to the Union Minister of State. Shashi Sharma informed that his company Tee Shot Technology Pvt. Mede Investment has been successful in reducing road accidents in accident-prone areas in Italy through modern technology and advertising-based awareness campaigns. This successful model is now being implemented in India. Under this joint initiative, a pilot project will be launched within a 50-kilometer radius in highly accident-prone areas of Uttarakhand, where state-of-the-art road safety technology, digital alert systems, visual awareness aids, and modern accident prevention systems will be installed. The main objective of this project is to reduce the number of road accidents and bring the number of fatalities to zero. Union Minister of State Ajay Tamta praised this initiative, calling it a commendable and innovative effort. He said that road safety is among the top priorities of the government, and technical participation from the private sector can prove to be extremely important in this direction. He also assured that if this pilot project is successful, it has a strong possibility of being implemented across the country in the future. This meeting is being seen as a new hope in the field of road safety not only in Uttarakhand but across the country. If this joint initiative of Tee Shot Technology Pvt. Ltd and Mede Investment is successful on the ground, then thousands of lives can be saved in the future and effective control of road accidents will be possible.
