Samajwadi Party candidate Akram Shaikh, representing Ward No. 19 in the Bhiwandi Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections, has sent a new message to the region’s politics by winning a landslide and historic victory. Defeating his nearest rival by a huge margin of 916 votes, Akram Shaikh has further strengthened the Samajwadi Party’s position in Ward No. 19 and the entire Bhiwandi region. Following this victory, Ward No. 19 was filled with joy, enthusiasm, and celebration. Samajwadi Party workers and supporters celebrated with drums and trumpets. As soon as the victory was announced, a stream of people congratulated Akram Shaikh. Local citizens, social workers, and party leaders welcomed him with garlands and congratulated him. As soon as Akram Shaikh entered the electoral fray, Ahmed Raza Shaikh temporarily closed his business and set up base in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra, and began campaigning with full force. In an exclusive interview with Hind Ekta Times, Ahmed Raza Shaikh said that Akram Shaikh’s victory guarantees a bright future for Ward No. 19. He expressed confidence that development work will now proceed at a rapid pace in Ward No. 19, and the area’s residents will benefit from basic amenities. Ahmed Raza Shaikh said, “From today, the flood of development has begun in Ward No. 19.” Akram Shaikh’s victory is being seen as the beginning of new hopes and new development not only for the Samajwadi Party but also for the people of Ward No. 19.
