Tapti Mill workers will get 8 months' pending salary in August - MP will soon meet the Prime Minister to restart Tapti Mill - Discussion also took place regarding bonus of mill employees Burhanpur. Khandwa Lok Sabha MP Shri Dnyaneshwar Patil held an important meeting with Neelam Shami Rao, Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, in New Delhi to resolve the pending demands of the employees of Burhanpur Tapti Mill, a unit of National Textile Corporation. The MP said that Tapti Mill, which is closed since the Corona period, about 800 employees-workers working in the mill have not been paid salary for a total of 8 months from November 2024 to June 2025. Not only this, after the Corona period, half the salary of 17 months from June 2023 is also pending. Due to non-payment of salary, financial crisis has arisen in front of the families of the employees, so the pending salary should be released as soon as possible. The secretary assured that the salary of the employees will be released in the month of August. During this, the MP presented the Shivling of Narmadaeshwar Mahadev ji to the secretary. *Mill employees should get bonus* The MP told the senior officials of NTC Mill that it has been brought to my notice by the employee-labor unions of Tapti Mill that the employees of three (NTC) mills of Mumbai have been given bonus for two years. The bonus of the workers of Burhanpur Tapti Mill is pending from the year 2021. They should also be given the benefit of bonus. If the employees get bonus, it will be a relief for them. *MP had held a meeting* On 2 June 2025, MP Shri Patil had an important meeting with the GM along with the workers, union officials at Tapti Mill regarding the demand of pending salary of the mill employees. The MP had then assured that he would meet senior officials in New Delhi regarding this matter and resolve it. *Will request Prime Minister Modi* It is noteworthy that on 6 August 2024, MP Shri Dnyaneshwar Patil met the successful Prime Minister Honorable Shri Narendra Modi in New Delhi and requested to restart the Tapti Mill. Handing over the letter to the Prime Minister, MP Shri Patil had told that Tapti Mill was modernized by the Central Government by giving Rs 100 crore. Due to which 800 workers were directly working in this mill daily. About 1200 families are indirectly based on this mill. Due to the good work culture of Tapti Mill, this mill never went into loss. Tapti Mill was number one among the 25 mills running by NTC, in 2020 due to the Corona epidemic, the operation of this mill was stopped. 1200 families are being affected due to the closure of this mill. The Prime Minister had assured that a meaningful decision would be taken by the government in this direction. MP Shri Patil said that he will once again meet the Prime Minister and request him to restart the mill. It is the top priority of our government to restart the Tapti mill.

ताप्ती मिल के श्रमिकों को अगस्त में मिलेगा 8 माह का लंबित वेतन
– ताप्ती मिल को फिर से शुरू करने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री से जल्द मिलेंगे सांसद
– मिल के कर्मचारियों के बोनस को लेकर भी हुई चर्चा
बुरहानपुर। नेशनल टेक्सटाईल कॉपोरेशन की युनिट बुरहानपुर ताप्ती मिल के कर्मचारियों की लंबित मांगो के निराकरण को लेकर खंडवा लोकसभा सांसद श्री ज्ञानेश्वर पाटील ने नई दिल्ली में वस्त्र मंत्रालय भारत सरकार की सचिव नीलम शमी राव के साथ महत्वपूर्ण बैठक की सांसद ने कहा कि ताप्ती मिल जो कोरोना काल से बंद है,मिल में कार्यरत लगभग 800 कर्मचारी- श्रमिको को नवंबर 2024 से जून 2025 तक कुल 8 माह से वेतन का भुगतान नहीं किया गया है। यही नहीं कोरोना काल के बाद जूून 2023 से 17 माह की आधी सैलरी का भुगतान भी शेष है। वेतन का भुगतान नहीं होने से कर्मचारियों के परिवारों के सामने आर्थिक संकट खडा हो गया है इसलिए शीघ्र अतिशीघ्र लंबित वेतन जारी किया जाए। सचिव ने आश्वस्त किया कि अगस्त माह में कर्मचारियों का वेतन जारी कर देंगे। इस दौरान सांसद ने नर्मदेश्वर महादेव जी का शिवलिंग सचिव को भेंट किया।
*मिल के कर्मचारियों को मिले बोनस*
सांसद ने एनटीसी मिल के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों को बताया कि ताप्ती मिल के कर्मचारी-श्रमिक यूनियनो द्वारा मेरे संज्ञान में लाया गया है कि मुम्बई की तीन (एन.टी.सी.) मिल के कर्मचारी को दो साल का बोनस दिया गया है। बुरहानपुर ताप्ती मिल के श्रमिको का वर्ष 2021 से बोनस शेष है। इन्हें भी बोनस का लाभ दिया जाना चाहिए। कर्मचारियों को बोनस मिलता है तो यह उनके लिए राहत होंगी।
*सांसद ने की थी बैठक*
मिल कर्मचारियों के लंबित वेतन की मांग को लेकर 2 जून 2025 को ताप्ती मिल में सांसद श्री पाटील ने श्रमिकों, यूनियन पदाधिकारीयो के साथ जीएम से महत्वपूर्ण बैठक की थी। सांसद ने तब विश्वास दिलाया था कि इस विषय को लेकर नई दिल्ली में वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों से मुलाकात कर निराकरण करेंगे।
*प्रधानमंत्री मोदी से करेंगे अनुरोध*
उल्लेखनीय है कि 6 अगस्त 2024 को नई दिल्ली में यशस्वी प्रधानमंत्री माननीय श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी से सांसद श्री ज्ञानेश्वर पाटील ने भेंट कर ताप्ती मिल को पुनः संचालित करने हेतु अनुरोध किया था । प्रधानमंत्री जी को पत्र सौंप सांसद श्री पाटील ने बताया था कि ताप्ती मिल को केंद्र सरकार द्वारा 100 करोड रुपये दे कर आधुनिकरण किया गया था। जिस कारण इस मिल में प्रत्यक्ष रूप से 800 श्रमिक रोजाना कार्यरत थे। इस मिल पर अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से लगभग 1200 परिवार आधारित है। ताप्ती मिल के वर्क कल्चर अच्छा होने के कारण यह मिल कभी भी घाटे में नहीं गयी एनटीसी की चलने वाली 25 मिलो में ताप्ती मिल एक नंबर पर थी, 2020 में कोरोना महामारी की वजह से इस मिल का संचालन बंद कर दिया गया। इस मिल के बंद होने के कारण 1200 परिवार प्रभावित हो रहे हैं। प्रधानमंत्री ने विश्वास दिलाया था कि इस दिशा में सरकार द्वारा सार्थक निर्णय लिया जाएगा। सांसद श्री पाटील ने बताया कि वे एक बार फिर प्रधानमंत्री से भेंट कर मिल को पुन शुरू करने के लिए अनुरोध करेंगे। ताप्ती मिल फिर के शुरू हो यह हमारे सरकार की सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता है।
