A youth from Gujarat reached Azamgarh in UP to meet his girlfriend. Upon arrival here, the girlfriend refused to meet him at her home in Laxmipur Parasi village of Jahanaganj. The youth got hurt when his girlfriend refused to meet him and set himself on fire by pouring petrol. The youth was admitted to the district hospital where his condition remains critical. Vimlesh Rajbhar, a resident of Belnadih village in Sidhari police station area, was having an affair with a girl. They fled the house some time ago and a panchayat was convened in the village on their return a few days later. When the girl reached the age of marriage, the decision was taken in the panchayat and the matter calmed down. The girl’s relatives then sent her to her native place.गुजरात से एक युवक अपनी प्रेम‍िका से म‍िलने यूपी के आजमगढ़ पहुंच गया।यहां पहुंचने पर जहानागंज के लक्ष्मीपुर परासी गांव स्थित ननिहाल में रह रही प्रेमिका ने उससे म‍िलने से ही इनकार कर द‍िया। प्रेम‍िका के म‍िलने से इनकार पर युवक आहत हो गया और पेट्रोल डालकर खुद को आग के हवाले कर लिया। युवक को जिला अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है, जहां उसकी हालत गंभीर बनी हुई है।सिधारी थाना क्षेत्र के बेलनाडीह ग्राम निवासी विमलेश राजभर का एक लड़की के साथ प्रेम प्रपंच चल रहा था। कुछ समय पहले दोनों घर से फरार हो गए और कुछ दिनों बाद उनके वापस लौटने पर गांव में पंचायत बुलाई गई। लड़की की उम्र पूरी होने पर दोनों की शादी करा देने का फैसला पंचायत में सुनाया गया और मामला शांत हो गया। इसके बाद लड़की के स्वजनों ने उसे उसके ननिहाल भेज द‍िया।

उधर, युवक भी रोजी-रोटी कमाने के लिए गुजरात चला गया। गुरुवार को विमलेश अपने दो साथियों के साथ स्कूटी से पहुंचा। वहां प्रेमिका को बुलाकर उस पर भागने के लिए दबाव बनाने लगा। प्रेमिका द्वारा इस बात से इनकार करने पर विमलेश ने स्कूटी में रखे बोतल का पेट्रोल अपने शरीर पर छिड़ककर खुद को आग के हवाले कर दिया।बताते हैं कि इस दौरान वहां मौजूद रहे विमलेश के दोनों दोस्त मौके से भाग निकले। पीड़ित का कहना कि मैं सूरत था लड़की ने मुझे फोन करके बुलाया तो मैं अपने घर से प्रेमिका से मिलने उसके ननिहाल पहुंचा। इस घटना की जांच में जुटे उपनिरीक्षक ओमप्रकाश यादव का कहना है कि घटना के बाद लड़की को रात में ही उसके घर भेज दिया गया है जिसे बुलवाया जा रहा है। इस मामले में लड़की और लड़के दोनों के बयान दर्ज होने के बाद ही उचित कार्रवाई की जाएगी।Meanwhile, the youth also went to Gujarat to earn a living. Sub-inspector Omprakash Yadav, who is investigating the incident, said the girl was sent to her house at night and is being summoned. Appropriate action will be taken only after the statements of both the girl and the boy are recorded in the case.
