आरजी टैक्स केस: आरोपी संजय रॉय अब सिर्फ वर्चुअल कोर्ट में पेश होंगे
Kolkata: Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal, is located in R.G. The 'sole main accused' civic volunteer Sanjay Roy, who was arrested in the case of rape and murder of a junior doctor at Kar Medical College and Hospital, will have only virtual appearance in the court from Monday. The hearing process in the case started on November 11 on fast-track and daily basis. Till now Roy was produced before the special court. All arrangements have been made to produce Roy before the special court in virtual mode during the trial process from Monday at the Presidency Central Correctional Home in south Kolkata, sources familiar with the case said. Notably, Roy's physical presence in the special court on the first day of the trial proceedings was mired in controversy. While being taken out of the court after the hearing, Roy gave an explosive statement saying that he has been implicated in a conspiracy. In an interaction with the mediapersons, Roy had claimed that former Kolkata Police Commissioner Vineet Kumar Goyal had hatched a conspiracy against him. From the second day, complete arrangements were made so that Roy did not get a chance to talk to the media persons while being brought to the court premises. He was brought and taken to the court in a special vehicle, so that he could not interact with media persons waiting outside the courtroom. Instead of the usual prison van with a netted border, he was brought to the court premises in a special Kolkata Police vehicle, the windows of which were closed.
कोलकाता:। पश्चिम बंगाल की राजधानी कोलकाता स्थित आर.जी. कर मेडिकल कॉलेज एवं अस्पताल में एक जूनियर डॉक्टर की बलात्कार और हत्या के मामले में गिरफ्तार ‘एकमात्र मुख्य आरोपी’ सिविक वालंटियर संजय रॉय की सोमवार से अदालत में सिर्फ वर्चुअल पेशी होगी।
मामले में फास्ट-ट्रैक और दैनिक आधार पर सुनवाई की प्रक्रिया 11 नवंबर को शुरू हुई थी। अब तक रॉय को विशेष अदालत में सशरीर पेश किया गया था।
मामले के जानकार सूत्रों ने बताया कि रॉय को दक्षिण कोलकाता के प्रेसीडेंसी सेंट्रल करेक्शनल होम से सोमवार से ट्रायल प्रक्रिया के दौरान वर्चुअल मोड में विशेष अदालत के समक्ष पेश करने के लिए सारे इंतजाम कर लिए गए हैं।
उल्लेखनीय है कि मुकदमे की प्रक्रिया के पहले दिन विशेष अदालत में रॉय की सशरीर उपस्थिति विवादों में घिर गई थी। सुनवाई के बाद अदालत से बाहर ले जाते समय रॉय ने विस्फोटक बयान देते हुए कहा था कि उसे साजिश के तहत फंसाया गया है।
मीडियाकर्मियों से बातचीत में रॉय ने दावा किया था कि कोलकाता के पूर्व पुलिस आयुक्त विनीत कुमार गोयल ने उसके खिलाफ साजिश रची थी।
दूसरे दिन से पूरी व्यवस्था की गई कि अदालत परिसर में लाए जाने के दौरान रॉय को मीडियाकर्मियों से बात करने का मौका न मिले। उसे एक विशेष वाहन में अदालत से लाया और ले जाया गया, जिससे वह अदालत कक्ष के बाहर इंतजार कर रहे मीडियाकर्मियों से बातचीत न कर सके।
जालीदार बॉर्डर वाली सामान्य जेल वैन की बजाय, उसे कोलकाता पुलिस के एक विशेष वाहन में अदालत परिसर में लाया गया, जिसकी खिड़कियां बंद होती हैं।
