लायन्स क्लब कराड सिटीच्या तर्फे शहीद पोलिसांना श्रद्धांजली
Satara: Lions Club Karad City paid homage to the police officers and employees martyred in the Mumbai terror attacks that took place on 26 November 2008 at Karad City Police Station. Speaking at the time, Senior Police Inspector of Karad City Police Station, Raju Ananda Tashildar, said that among the police officers martyred in the attack, C. Ashok Kamte, Ca. Vijay Salaskar, CA. Tributes were paid to Hemant Karkare, martyred constable Tukaram Ombale of Satara district and various other policemen. He also spontaneously narrated his experience while in Mumbai in front of all the police officers and Lions members present. While speaking to Yasayam Te, he said that remembering the sacrifices made by social service organization like Lion, he thanked the Lions Club Karad City for expressing his feelings towards them. At that time, all the officers and employees of Karad Police Station were honored with rose flowers and paid homage to the martyred policemen by lighting candles in front of their photos. Yasayam Karad City Police Inspector Ravindra Kale, Maruti Chavan, Disle, Shri. Pawar etc. would have been present. Senior member of Lions Club Karad City, La. Mahesh Khuspe paid tribute to all the martyrs on behalf of Lions Club Karad City and mentioned that Lions Club Karad City organizes this initiative every year at the police station. At that time the President of Lions Club Karad City was Lt. Manjuri Khuspe, Secretary Lt. Shashikant Patil, Khajindar La. Laxman Yadav, LA. Sunita Patil, LA. Praveen Bhosle La. Kanchan Solavande, LA. Anil Patil, LA. Rajkumar Babar, La. Digvijay Patil, LA. Sunita Kadam, L.S. Chopde etc. would have been present.

सतारा:लायन्स क्लब कराड सिटीच्या वतीने २६ नोव्हेंबर २००८ रोजी झालेल्या मुंबईवर अतिरेकी हल्ल्यांमध्ये शहीद झालेल्या पोलीस अधिकारी व कर्मचाऱ्यांना लायन्स क्लब कराड सिटीच्या वतीने कराड शहर पोलीस स्टेशन येथे श्रद्धांजली अर्पण करण्यात आली. यावेळेस बोलताना कराड शहर पोलीस स्टेशनचे वरिष्ठ पोलीस निरीक्षक राजू आनंदा ताशिलदार यांनी यावेळेस या हल्ल्यात शहीद झालेल्या पोलीस अधिकाऱ्यांपैकी कै. अशोक कामटे, कै. विजय साळस्कर, कै. हेमंत करकरे तसेच सातारा जिल्ह्यातील शहीद कॉन्स्टेबल तुकाराम ओंबाळे तसेच इतर विविध पोलिसांना श्रद्धांजली वाहिली. तसेच ते स्वतः मुंबईत असतानाचे अनुभव त्यांनी सर्व उपस्थित पोलीस अधिकारी व लायन्स सदस्य यांच्यासमोर कथन केले. यावेळेस ते बोलत असताना म्हणाले लायन सारख्या समाजसेवी संघटनेने पोलिसांनी दिलेल्या बलिदानाची आठवण ठेवून त्यांनी त्यांच्या प्रति आपल्या भावना व्यक्त केल्याबद्दल लायन्स क्लब कराड सिटी चे आभार मानले. यावेळेस कराड पोलीस स्टेशन मधील सर्व अधिकारी व कर्मचाऱ्यांना गुलाब पुष्प देऊन सन्मान करण्यात आला, व शहीद झालेल्या पोलिसांच्या फोटो समोर मेणबत्ती लावून त्यांना आदरांजली अर्पण केली. यावेळेस कराड शहर पोलीस मधील पोलीस इन्स्पेक्टर रविंद्र काळे, मारुती चव्हाण, डिसले, श्री. पवार आदी उपस्थित होते. यावेळेस लायन्स क्लब कराड सिटीचे जेष्ठ सदस्य ला. महेश खुस्पे यांनी लायन्स क्लब कराड सिटी च्या वतीने सर्व शहिदांना आदरांजली अर्पण केली, व लायन्स क्लब कराड सिटी दरवर्षी हा उपक्रम पोलीस स्टेशनमध्ये करत असते हे नमूद केले. त्यावेळेस लायन्स क्लब कराड सिटीच्या अध्यक्षा ला. मंजुरी खुस्पे, सचिव ला. शशिकांत पाटील, खजिनदार ला. लक्ष्मण यादव, ला. सुनीता पाटील, ला. प्रवीण भोसले ला. कांचन सोळवंडे, ला. अनिल पाटील, ला. राजकुमार बाबर, ला. दिग्विजय पाटील, ला. सुनिता कदम, ला.सौ. चोपडे आदी उपस्थित होते.
