Mumbai:Actress Rupali Suri is known to call a spade a ‘spade’. Time and again, she has never really shied away from speaking her heart out about pertinent matters and once again, she is making waves with her bold and beautiful thanksgiving message for the Indian army. Ever since the Pahalgam attacks took place, the entire nation was bereaved and soon after that, the brave Indian army conducted the ‘Operation Sindoor’ to blow away terror camps in as many as 9 targets in Pakistan. Soon after, retaliation happened from across the border all thanks to the military expertise of the Indian army, the country and its citizens could live peacefully without much to worry about. Regarding the currentceasefire situation and the Indian army’s contribution to the whole scenario, Rupali shares,
“Not just this time but everytime motherland required the services of our army, our jawans have responded and ensured that the country remains safe. I have been hearing heroic tales about the jawans and their bravery for such a long time but this was truly the first time when I witnessed everything in front of my own eyes during a war-like situation with Pakistan. I feel no amount of thanksgiving is genuinely enough for what they do for the country unconditionally. It’s hard to imagine even 1 day of peace in this country if the jawans are not protecting us. If today, the ceasefire has happened, it is only because our Indian army have been so efficient that they have literally left no option but to ensure Pakistan have no other option but to crave for a ceasefire using the help of the West. This is the new India. We are resilient and believe in peace but if anyone dares to shake our sense of stability, we certainly know how to give it back and ‘Operation Sindoor’ was a befitting response to such terrorist activities. I hope this stops for once and all. Thank you Indian army. Without you, we are truly nothing.”
