District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) Upendra Kumar has issued a letter to the managers of 13 non-government aided schools of the district and directed them to suspend their principals. This action was taken due to non-compliance of government instructions and failure to upload teachers’ details on online portal on time. This letter caused a stir in the schools.

Principals of Narottam Brahm Inter College Sunderpur and Veenapara Inter College defied the instructions of the government. Their non-uploading of teachers’ details on time and non-compliance with the orders of higher authorities shows indifference in government work, tarnishing the image of the department. However, according to sources, no action report from any school has reached the DIOS office so far. Attempts were made to contact DIOS in this regard, but could not be contacted.
