Village Panchayat Officer Mohammad Alam has been suspended following complaints of irregularities in development works in Juda Rampur village of Maharajganj, Vikas Khand of Azamgarh. A man of the village had accused the village headman of corruption in the works done with the fund. In the complaint, there were irregularities in the construction of two roads, cattle shed, digging of ponds and other works. DPRO took cognizance of the matter and started investigation.

आजमगढ़ के विकास खंड महाराजगंज के जूड़ा रामपुर गांव में विकास कार्यों में अनियमितता की शिकायत के बाद ग्राम पंचायत अधिकारी मोहम्मद आलम को निलंबित कर दिया गया है। गांव के एक व्यक्ति ने ग्राम प्रधान की निधि से कराए गए कार्यों में भ्रष्टाचार का आरोप लगाया था। शिकायत में दो चक मार्ग निर्माण, कैटल शेड, तालाब खोदाई समेत अन्य कार्यों में अनियमितता की बात सामने आई थी। मामले को डीपीआरओ ने संज्ञान में लिया और जांच शुरू करा दी।(The allegation was proved in the investigation. With immediate effect, Gram Panchayat Adhikari Mohammad Alam of Rampur was suspended and attached to Maharajganj block)जांच में आरोप सिद्ध हो गया। जांच रिपोर्ट के आधार पर डीएम ने तत्काल प्रभाव से ग्राम पंचायत अधिकारी मोहम्मद आलम को निलंबित कर दिया। साथ ही, उन्हें विकास खंड महाराजगंज से संबद्ध किया गया है। डीपीआरओ कुंवर सिंह यादव ने बताया कि विकास खंड महाराजगंज के जूड़ा रामपुर गांव में हुए विकास कार्यों में अनियमितता की शिकायत मिली थी। जांच हुई तो दोष सिद्ध पाया गया। इसे लेकर तत्काल प्रभाव से जूड़ा रामपुर के ग्राम पंचायत अधिकारी मोहम्मद आलम को निलंबित करते हुए महाराजगंज ब्लाक से संबद्ध कर दिया गया।
