Sagar Parekh treats co-stars Aarya Babbar and Vijayendra Kumeria to homemade Litti Chokha on the sets of Jagriti – Ek Nayi Subah!

In Zee TV’s Jagriti – Ek Nayi Subah, Sagar Parekh plays a key role alongside Aarya Babbar (Kalikant Thakur) and Vijayendra Kumeria (Suraj), and while the three portray a compelling family dynamic on-screen, their off-screen camaraderie is just as warm and authentic. Recently, Sagar surprised his co-stars and the crew with a thoughtful gesture that quickly became the highlight of the day. Bringing a taste of his roots to the set, he treated everyone to homemade Litti Chokha—a traditional delicacy from his hometown.

Sagar Parekh said, “I had often spoken about Litti Chokha on set, and both Aarya sir and Vijayendra were eager to try it. They kept saying it was on their must-try list for a while now, so I felt this was the perfect opportunity to bring some homemade Litti Chokha—a special delicacy from my hometown—for everyone to enjoy, especially made by mom. Their reaction was absolutely priceless. They loved it wholeheartedly and couldn’t stop praising the flavours!”
He added, “Seeing their excitement and appreciation made me feel incredibly proud and fulfilled. Sharing a part of my culture with my co-stars and watching everyone savour the meal turned an ordinary shooting day into a truly heartwarming and memorable experience.”

While the cast bonded over the rich flavours of Litti Chokha on set, the on-screen drama is heating up as Jagriti (Rachana Mistry) is gearing up to take a bold stand against Kalikant and put an end to his wrongdoings, setting the stage for some intense twists ahead.
