Deoria. As part of the Mission Shakti 5.0 campaign, the Women's Welfare Department, Deoria, under the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao scheme, organized a grand celebration of the birth of a girl child at the Community Health Center, Gauri Bazaar. The program was chaired by Dr. Imran Khan (Pediatrician) and Dr. Priyanka (Gynecologist). The entire health center staff was present. The program began with welcoming the girls and lighting lamps. A total of 20 newborn girls were celebrated at the event, and their parents were honored. Neetu Bharti (Center Administrator), Meenu Jaiswal (Psychologist), and Mansha Singh (Gender Specialist) from the Women's Welfare Department were present. During her address, Neetu Bharti stated that daughters are the pride of our society. It is every family's responsibility not only to celebrate their birth but also to educate and empower them. Meenu Jaiswal emphasized that special attention should be paid to the nutrition, health, and mental development of girls so that they can become self-reliant in the future. Mansha Singh discussed gender equality and women's rights in detail, explaining that social change is only possible when we provide equal opportunities to all girls. She explained that this event was an inspiring initiative to spread the message of women's empowerment and gender equality. The program conveyed the message that "if there is a daughter, there is a tomorrow," and that we should feel proud of the birth of every girl child. During the program, families of all newborn girls were provided with "Beti Kits," which included essential items such as clothes, soap, oil, diapers, etc. A sweets distribution ceremony and a felicitation ceremony filled the atmosphere with joy and enthusiasm. The health center doctors provided detailed information to the mothers present about safe motherhood, vaccinations, breastfeeding, nutrition, and newborn care.

देवरिया ।मिशन शक्ति 5.0 अभियान के अंतर्गत बेटी बचाओ, बेटी पढ़ाओ योजना के तहत महिला कल्याण विभाग, देवरिया द्वारा सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र, गौरी बाजार में कन्या जन्मोत्सव का आयोजन हर्षोल्लास के साथ किया गया। कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता डॉ. इमरान खान (बाल रोग विशेषज्ञ) एवं डॉ. प्रियंका (स्त्री रोग विशेषज्ञ) ने की। इस अवसर पर स्वास्थ्य केंद्र का समस्त स्टाफ उपस्थित रहा। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ कन्याओं के स्वागत एवं दीप प्रज्वलन के साथ किया गया।
कार्यक्रम में कुल 20 नवजात बालिकाओं का जन्मोत्सव मनाया गया, जिनके जन्म पर उनके अभिभावकों को सम्मानित किया गया। महिला कल्याण विभाग से नीतू भारती (केन्द्र प्रशासक), मीनू जायसवाल (मनोवैज्ञानिक) तथा मंशा सिंह (जेंडर स्पेशलिस्ट) उपस्थित रहीं।
संबोधन के दौरान नीतू भारती ने बताया कि बेटियाँ हमारे समाज की गौरव हैं। उनके जन्म पर खुशी मनाना ही नहीं बल्कि उन्हें शिक्षित और सशक्त बनाना भी प्रत्येक परिवार का दायित्व है। मीनू जायसवाल ने कहा कि बालिकाओं के पोषण, स्वास्थ्य और मानसिक विकास पर विशेष ध्यान देना चाहिए ताकि वे भविष्य में आत्मनिर्भर बन सकें। मंशा सिंह ने लिंग समानता और महिलाओं के अधिकारों पर विस्तार से चर्चा करते हुए बताया कि समाज में परिवर्तन तभी संभव है जब हम सभी बालिकाओं को समान अवसर प्रदान करें। उन्होंने बताया कि यह आयोजन महिला सशक्तिकरण और लिंग समानता के संदेश को समाज में प्रसारित करने की दिशा में एक प्रेरणादायक पहल रही। कार्यक्रम के माध्यम से यह संदेश दिया गया कि “बेटी है तो कल है” और हमें हर कन्या के जन्म पर गर्व महसूस करना चाहिए। कार्यक्रम के दौरान सभी नवजात बालिकाओं के परिवारों को “बेटी किट” प्रदान की गई, जिसमें आवश्यक वस्तुएँ जैसे—कपड़े, साबुन, तेल, डायपर आदि सम्मिलित थे। इसके साथ ही मीठाई वितरण एवं बधाई समारोह आयोजित किया गया, जिससे पूरा वातावरण हर्ष और उत्साह से भर उठा। स्वास्थ्य केंद्र के चिकित्सकों द्वारा उपस्थित माताओं को सुरक्षित मातृत्व, टीकाकरण, स्तनपान, पोषण और नवजात शिशु देखभाल के विषय में विस्तृत जानकारी दी गई।
