Deoria. The Shrimad Bhagwat Katha in Teliya Kala village of Barhaj tehsil area started with the worship of Vyas Peetha. First of all, the main host Vijay Pratap Singh and Anandi Singh worshipped the Vyas Peetha amidst Vedic mantras. After that, Acharya Brijesh Mani Tripathi, while discussing the Mahatma of Shrimad Bhagwat, said that to get the blessings of God, a man should listen to the story of Shrimad Bhagwat in his life, so that he becomes eligible for Dharma, Artha, Kama, and Moksha and the love of man increases in the feet of God. When there is love for God, then the creature becomes detached from worldly attachments and detachment arises in the mind of the creature. Love for God is the best happiness. The recitation of Shrimad Bhagwat is being done by Acharya Govind Tiwari. A large number of devotees from the village and the area including Surendra Singh, Suresh Singh, Chandra Bhushan Singh, Arun Kumar Singh, Ashok Singh, Satya Prakash Singh, Satyendra Singh, Gajendra Singh, Anurag Singh were present in the Katha. At the end of the Katha, the Aarti of Shrimad Bhagwat ji was performed by the main host and other devotees.

देवरिया।बरहज तहसील क्षेत्र के तेलिया कला गांव में श्रीमद् भागवत कथा का शुभारंभ व्यास पीठ पूजन के साथ प्रारंभ हुआ सर्वप्रथम मुख्य यजमान विजय प्रताप सिंह एवं आनंदी सिंह द्वारा वैदिक मत्रों के बीच व्यास पीठ का पूजन किया गया तत्पश्चात आचार्य बृजेश मणि त्रिपाठी ने श्रीमद् भागवत के महात्मा की चर्चा करते हुए कहां की भगवान की कृपा पाने के लिए मनुष्य को जीवन में श्रीमद् भागवत की कथा श्रवण करनी चाहिए जिससे कि वह धर्म, अर्थ ,काम ,और मोक्ष का अधिकारी हो जाता है और भगवान के चरणों में मनुष्य का अनुराग बढ़ जाता है जब परमात्मा के प्रति अनुराग होता है तो सांसारिक मोह माया से जीव विरक्त हो जाता है और जीव के मन में विराग उत्पन्न हो जाता है ईश्वर से अनुराग ही सबसे उत्तम सुख है।
श्रीमद्भागवत के पारायण आचार्य गोविंद तिवारी द्वारा किया जा रहा है कथा में सुरेंद्र सिंह, सुरेश सिंह, चंद्र भूषण सिंह, अरुण कुमार सिंह ,अशोक सिंह, सत्य प्रकाश सिंह, सत्येंद्र सिंह, गजेंद्र सिंह, अनुराग सिंह सहित गांव एवं क्षेत्र के श्रद्धालु जन काफी संख्या में उपस्थित रहे कथा के विश्राम पर श्रीमद् भागवत जी की आरती मुख्य यजमान सहित अन्य श्रद्धालुओं द्वारा उतारी गई।
