Astrology, Writing, and Podcasts Will Lead India’s Spiritual Revolution, Says Sameer Arora
Mumbai:Writer Sameer Arora, creator of Paparazzi Entertainment Company’s spiritual show The Vedas Speak, says he often encounters widespread misconceptions about astrology and Vedic knowledge. “The most popular misconceptions I encounter are around ‘Mangal Dosh,’ ‘Kaal Sarp Yog,’ and ‘Sade Saati.’ I have a completely different take on them. It really depends on many calculations in an individual’s horoscope, and it is ridiculous to throw these terms around generically, which I see happening in so many videos these days,” he shared. For him, the fear-driven approach to astrology is misleading. “Unfortunately, a lot of misinformation is spread, and at times astrology is misused to trigger fear and scare people. To me, it feels like just a way of extracting money. How can the nine Avatars of Vishnu and Maa Shakti, who are present in the form of the Navagrahas, ever harm anyone? Yes, they are meant to bring certain lessons. Don’t our parents scold us, and even punish us, when we do something wrong? Similarly, these Grahas scold us and test us during their dashas so that we become better people. And when we learn the lessons they want us to learn, they bless us. Astrology is about decoding these lessons. It’s actually that simple. This is my approach, and my clients have shared amazing testimonials after experiencing sessions with me,” he said. Looking at the future, Sameer is certain India will reclaim its position as the global hub of spirituality. “The faith industry, as we call it, is all set to multiply its reach at least tenfold compared to what it is today globally. I can say with certainty that India always was, and in the coming times will once again be, recognized as the fulcrum of spirituality. Mark my words: Sanatan Dharma will be the most recognized parampara by the time we enter the 2030s. India will be the spiritual capital of the world,” he said. He believes podcasts, writing, and astrology together have the power to drive this transformation. “Podcasts are an effective way to reach a wider audience. There has never been any question about the power of the pen, and as far as astrology is concerned, there are three kinds of people in the world; Believers, Non-Believers, and those on the fence. But I know for sure that even non-believers, at some point in life, become believers, and the ones on the fence keep oscillating. India is destined to be at the forefront of this spiritual explosion, and our podcasters, writers, and astrologers will lead this revolution. I hope to be a part of this,” he said. Sameer credits Paparazzi Entertainment for giving his podcast a nurturing home. “Paparazzi is home, a place that feels like a mother’s womb. I say this because they are responsible for giving birth to my podcast. And I behave like a baby with them, I ask for spiritual goodies, and like efficient parents, they go all out to indulge me. They are a blessing, and I am indebted to them,” he said. His admiration for the team is heartfelt. “I partake in everything happening there, and the people behind Paparazzi are visionaries and geniuses, because their intent is noble. They are kind people with their hearts in the right place. Just one interaction with Ajinkya and you will understand what I mean. He is among the humblest of people, someone who never wields his power or position. Those who work there once will find it difficult to work anywhere else,” he said. He also points out their forward-looking spirit. “They are innovators who have adapted to the new age of AI like a fish to water. Relentless, confident, and assured in their approach, their work is world-class, be it Kahani Khazana, Paparazzi Ad World, or Paparazzi Entertainment. They have taken AI media to a new level. The first AI feature film, starring an A-lister like Sunny Leone, has already gone on floors and will soon change the game of entertainment,” he said. Grateful for the journey, he added, “Paparazzi is truly a force to reckon with, real dream merchants. It is humbling to be a part of them, and I am deeply grateful for all their love.”
