Hansa Singh: “This Dhanteras, My Investment Is in My Health”

Mumbai:

Actress Hansa Singh, known for her powerful screen presence in projects like Hunterrr, Page 3, Criminal Justice, Goodbye, Money Hai Toh Honey Hai, Flip, Tom Dick and Harry, and Despatch, shares her thoughts on the festival of Dhanteras, which will be celebrated on October 18 this year. For Hansa, the festival is not just about material prosperity but also about valuing what truly matters — health, peace, and inner abundance.

“Dhan ka din Dhanteras… where we pray for all abundance in our lives — health, wealth, and prosperity always,” she says. “This Dhanteras, my wish is for good health because health is my wealth. It’s my personal take on life that a good and healthy body can help you earn a better life too. No money can save health issues. So living stress-free is my mantra this Dhanteras. My investment is in my health.”

Hansa’s perspective is deeply rooted in self-care and mindfulness, reflecting a modern understanding of prosperity that goes beyond gold or silver.

Talking about how the essence of Dhanteras has evolved over time, Hansa adds, “With time, changes are evident — and change is constant. But the age-old rituals also keep us grounded and connected to our culture. Now, in today’s time, that’s very essential — to be rooted. With the advent of technology, I believe people are also getting connected to their roots. So, I see a mix way of celebration. Now AI is also creating some very fond moments for people, and I’m sure it’s going to add warmth to celebrations.”
