Mumbai, November 8, 2025: The team of the upcoming Punjabi musical film Athru (meaning tear) celebrated a major milestone as the title song of the film was officially launched at Baa Mee Restaurant, Mumbai. The launch event witnessed an enthusiastic gathering of media, industry guests, and music lovers, marking a memorable evening filled with emotions, music, and appreciation for new creative talent.The soulful title track “Athru” — sung, written, and composed by Sikandar Maan — was unveiled under the music label Doss Music. Sikandar not only lends his voice and vision to the song but also directs and plays the lead in the film. The movie is produced by Snehashesh Pathak, with Sarfaraz Shaikh as Co-Producer, under the banner White & Black Production. The film promises a refreshing storytelling experience with music playing a pivotal role, and the makers will soon announce its official release date.The evening’s highlight was the presence of Guest of Honour — renowned singer Arvinder. Known for evergreen hits such as “Kala Sha Kala” and “Kudiyan Shehar Diyan”, Arvinder shared his admiration for the song and the passion behind the project.

The film is shepherded creatively by Project Head Akhilesh Tiwari and produced by Snehashesh Pathak with Sarfaraz Shaikh as Co-Producer.
