Mahadangal Revives India’s Wrestling Legacy with Grand January 26 Showcase

Mumbai:In a powerful revival of one of India’s proudest sporting traditions, The Mahadangal returns with a grand wrestling spectacle inspired by the historic 26th January Dangals. The event celebrates the spirit of Indian kushti, blending tradition, strength, and national pride on a magnificent stage.
Titled “Kushti Ka Maha Dangal 2026,” the event will be graced by an eminent lineup of chief guests, including:

The Mahadangal is promoted by Narsingh Yadav and Shilpi Yadav, respected custodians of Indian wrestling, and is being executed by Nasser Hussain and Supratik Sen.
More than a single event, this Mahadangal marks the launch of an ambitious six-stop Mahadangal series to be held throughout the year, showcasing India’s top wrestlers and reigniting national interest in traditional wrestling.
