मोटर इंश्योरेंस बना श्रीराम की ताकत, 25% ग्रोथ से Q1 में मचाया तहलका

Mumbai/Jaipur ,. Shriram General Insurance Company delivered a strong performance in the first quarter of FY2027, demonstrating robust momentum in the general insurance market. The company’s Gross Direct Premium (GDP) grew 23% year-on-year to ₹1,180 crore in Q1FY27, significantly ahead of the industry’s approximately 11% growth.

Motor insurance, the backbone of the company’s business, also recorded a strong 25% growth. Personal accident insurance surged 47%, while health insurance registered an impressive 211% growth. The company’s net profit increased 5% to ₹131 crore.

SGI’s Assets Under Management (AUM) rose 8.9% to ₹14,573 crore. During the quarter, the company added 5,176 new financial advisors, taking its total advisor strength to 1,10,102. The number of active policies also increased to 72 lakh.

According to MD & CEO Anil Agarwal, disciplined underwriting, a strong distribution network, and efficient claims settlement have been key drivers of the company’s growth. SGI has set a target of increasing its financial advisor base to 2 lakh by FY2030.

मुंबई/जयपुर । श्रीराम जनरल इंश्योरेंस कंपनी ने वित्त वर्ष 2027 की पहली तिमाही में जोरदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए जनरल इंश्योरेंस बाजार में अपनी रफ्तार का दम दिखाया है। कंपनी का सकल प्रत्यक्ष प्रीमियम (GDP) Q1FY27 में सालाना आधार पर 23% बढ़कर ₹1,180 करोड़ पहुंच गया, जबकि उद्योग की वृद्धि करीब 11% रही।कंपनी के कारोबार की रीढ़ मोटर इंश्योरेंस ने भी 25% की छलांग लगाई। वहीं व्यक्तिगत दुर्घटना बीमा में 47% और स्वास्थ्य बीमा में 211% की तेज वृद्धि दर्ज हुई। कंपनी का शुद्ध लाभ 5% बढ़कर ₹131 करोड़ हो गया।SGI का AUM भी 8.9% बढ़कर ₹14,573 करोड़ पहुंच गया। कंपनी ने तिमाही में 5,176 नए वित्तीय सलाहकार जोड़े, जिससे कुल संख्या 1,10,102 हो गई। सक्रिय पॉलिसियों का आधार भी बढ़कर 72 लाख पहुंच गया।एमडी एवं सीईओ अनिल अग्रवाल के मुताबिक, अनुशासित अंडरराइटिंग, मजबूत वितरण नेटवर्क और कुशल क्लेम सेटलमेंट कंपनी की ग्रोथ के प्रमुख आधार हैं। SGI ने FY2030 तक वित्तीय सलाहकारों की संख्या 2 लाख करने का लक्ष्य रखा है।
