Director Anees Barudwale’s action romantic film “Dhaak” starring Mohammad Salim Mullanwar has been released in theaters on 20 September 2024. “Ghajini” fame actor Pradeep Rawat is the main villain in the film while Sheena Shahabadi is the heroine opposite Salim. Made under the banner of I Am Kings Films International, the film also stars seasoned actors like Avinash Wadhawan and Ruslaan Mumtaz.

Salim Mullanwar, who is very excited about his first Bollywood film Dhaak, says, “I am a big fan of Salman Khan and South star Puneet Rajkumar in Bollywood. I was very fond of films since childhood and I dreamt of becoming a hero. But circumstances prevented me from fulfilling that dream. I first worked to establish my business because money is very important in life. When the business was established, I wanted to fulfill my dream of coming into films. When Puneet Rajkumar passed away, I decided that day that I will now go to Bollywood. Then I met director Anees Barudwale, told him the concept of Dhaak and he liked it. The same concept was converted into a screenplay and after a lot of hard work, this film was made.”

Regarding the entry of “Ghajini” fame actor Pradeep Rawat in the film, Salim Mullanwar said that we got an appointment to meet him with great difficulty. Director Anees ji impressed Pradeep Rawat so much with his personality and way of talking that he agreed to listen to the story of the film and his character. When he heard the story, he immediately agreed to do this role. He is a great actor and a wonderful person. The experience of shooting with him was memorable.”

Director Anees Barudwale, who has directed many hit films, says that when my film 3 Shyaane was released, Salim told me that he wants to work with me. The concept of Dhaak is Salim ji’s, I wrote the screenplay, Nisar Akhtar wrote the dialogues. 30 days of shooting was done in Mahabaleshwar, Panchgani, Mumbai. Salim has worked very hard, has given a good performance. He has delivered the dialogues in an excellent manner. In this action love story, a young man fights for rights and justice. He raises his voice against the wrong that happens in the society. The audience will feel that this is the story of their home, they will connect with the story. The kind of characters that used to be there in the 80s and 90s will be seen in this film.”

Regarding Ghajini’s villain Pradeep Rawat, director Anees said that he is a very nice person, he has an aura, even without dialogue he leaves an impact with his facial expressions.

About the film’s heroine Sheena Shahabadi, Anees Barudwale said that Sheena Shahabadi, who has done 30 films in South, was launched in Bollywood by Satish Kaushik in Tere Sang. Her good chemistry with Salim will be seen on screen. Ruslaan Mumtaz was the hero in that film but in Dhaak he is in a negative role.”

Real action has been filmed in the film Dhaak. All the five songs of the film are of different situations. Jaikara has already become a hit which has been choreographed by famous dance director Lollipop. One romantic song is also very lovely.
