उत्तर प्रदेश के पूर्वांचल में बहुचर्चित अवधेश राय हत्याकांड में 32 साल के इंतजार के बाद सोमवार को वो घड़ी आ गई, जिसका सभी को बेसब्री से इंतजार था,सोमवार को वाराणसी की एमपी-एमएलए कोर्ट में माफिया मुख्तार अंसारी दोषी करार देने के बाद सजा का ऐलान कर दिया।पूर्व विधायक और बाहुबली मुख्तार अंसारी को वाराणसी की विशेष अदालत ने उम्रकैद की सजा सुनाई है।मुख्तार को उम्रकैद की सजा के साथ ही एक लाख का जुर्माना भरने को भी कहा गया है. अगर वह जुर्माना नहीं भरता है तो 6 महीने की अतिरिक्त सजा सुनाई गई है.इसके अलावा 20 हजार रुपये का एक और जुर्माना भी लगाया गया है, जिसे न चुकाने पर सजा में 3 महीने और जोड़ दिए जाएंगे. मुख्तार अंसारी को धारा 148, 149 और 302 के तहत दोषी पाया गया।मुख्तार अंसारी को पूर्वांचल का खौफ माना जाता था. लेकिन बाहुबल हमेशा काम नहीं आता और इंसान की करनी आखिर उसके सामने आती ही है।आज जब अदालत ने मुख्तार के लिए उम्रकैद की सजा का ऐलान किया तो बहुत से लोगों के दिलों को सुकून मिला होगा,हालांकि, अगर मुख्तार को फांसी की सजा दी जाती तो उन्हें और बेहतर महसूस होता. जिस अवशेष राय हत्याकांड में मुख्तार अंसारी दोषी पाया गया और फिर उसे उम्रकैद की सजा सुनाई गई. चलिए जानते हैं वह पूरा मामला क्या था,Former MLA and Bahubali Mukhtar Ansari has been sentenced to life imprisonment by a special court in Varanasi. अवधेश राय कांग्रेस नेता थे. वह उत्तर प्रदेश के पूर्व मंत्री थे और हत्या से पहले पिंडरा से कई बार विधायक रह चुके थे. वह कांग्रेस के मौजूदा रीजनल प्रेसिडेंट अजय राय के बड़े भाई थे. अवधेश राय के मर्डर की यह घटना तीन अगस्त 1991 की है. जिस समय उनकी हत्या हुई, उस समय अवधेश राय वाराणसी के चेतगंज थाना क्षेत्र में लहुराबीर इलाके में अपने भाई अजय राय के साथ घर के बाहर खड़े थे.Avdhesh Rai was a Congress leader. मर्डर का पूरा घटनाक्रम
3 अगस्त 1991 के दिन सुबह का समय था. बनारस में हल्की बारिश हो रही थी. अवधेश राय और उनके छोटे भाई अजय राय घर के बाहर बातचीत कर रहे थे. उनकी कार भी बाहर पास में ही खड़ी थी. तभी अचानक एक मारूति वैन वहां पहुंची. वैन से आए बदमाशों ताबड़तोड़ फायरिंग शुरू कर दी. गोलियां अवधेश राय को निशाना बनाकर दागी गईं और उनका शरीर गोलियों से छलनी हो गया. गोलियों की तड़तड़ाहट से सुबह के समय पूरा इलाका गूंज गया. अवधेश राय के छोटे भाई अजय राय कुछ कर पाते, इससे पहले ही बदमाश वहां से भाग खड़े हुए. उनके सामने उनके बड़े भाई अवधेश राय का खून से लतपथ शव पड़ा था.अजय राय ने शोर मचाया तो वैन का पीछा भी किया गया, लेकिन तब तक हत्यारे वहां से फरार हो चुके थे. लहुलुहान अवधेश राय को तुरंत कबीरचौरा अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहां उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया गया. जहां यह हत्याकांड हुआ, वहां पास में ही चेतगंज थाना मौजूद था. गोलियों की जोरदार आवाज के बावजूद कोई भी पुलिसकर्मी वहां से बाहर नहीं आया.It was the morning of August 3, 1991. When Ajay Rai made a noise, the van was chased, but by then the killers had fled the scene. The bloodthirsty Avdhesh Rai was rushed to Kabirchaura hospital where he was pronounced dead. Chetganj police station was nearby where the murder took place. Despite the loud gunfire, no policemen came out.
पूर्वांचल में खौफ का साया
कांग्रेस नेता के इस मर्डर से पूरा पूर्वांचल सहम गया. पूर्व विधायक और अवधेश राय के छोटे भाई अजय राय ने इस मामले में मुख्तार अंसारी को मुख्य आरोपी बनाया. मुख्तार के साथ ही भीम सिंह, कमलेश सिंह और पूर्व विधायक अब्दुल कलाम व राकेश न्यायिक के खिलाफ भी शिकायत दर्ज की गई. कमलेश और अब्दुल कलाम की अब मौत हो चुकी है.The entire Purvanchal was shocked by the murder of the Congress leader. कोर्ट परिसर के पास बम ब्लास्ट
यह हाई प्रोफाइल मर्डर केस पर पिछले 32 वर्षों में कई अदालतों में सुनवाई हुई. बात 23 नवंबर 2007 की है, जब बनारस के ही एडीजे कोर्ट में मामले की सुनवाई चल रही थी. सुनवाई के दौरान अदालत से कुछ ही दूरी पर एक बम ब्लास्ट हुआ. अवधेश राय हत्याकांड के एक आरोपी राकेश न्यायिक ने सुरक्षा का खतरा बनाते हुए हाईकोर्ट की शरण ली. इस बम ब्लास्ट के बाद लंबे समय तक इस मामले की सुनवाई पर रोक लगी रही,विशेष MP/MLA कोर्ट के गठन के बाद इस मामले की इलाहाबाद में सुनवाई शुरू हुई. बाद में बनारस में भी विशेष MP/MLA कोर्ट का गठन हुआ और मुख्तार अंसारी के खिलाफ सुनवाई शुरू हुई,This high profile murder case was heard in several courts over the past 32 years. केस डायरी गुम होने की वजह से मुकदमें में हुई देरी
जिस अवधेश राय हत्याकांड में मुख्तार अंसारी को उम्रकैद की सजा सुनाई गई है।उसकी डायरी गुम हो गई थी. यही वजह है कि मुकदमें में लंबा समय लगा. इस मामले में वाराणसी की स्पेशल MP/MLA कोर्ट ने 19 मई को बसह के बाद सुनवाई पूरी कर ली थी. कोर्ट ने आदेश को 5 जून यानी आज के लिए सुरक्षित रख लिया था,Mukhtar Ansari, who was sentenced to life imprisonment in the Avdhesh Rai murder case, had lost his diary. पहले से 10 साल की सजा
मुख्तार अंसारी के खिलाफ कुल 61 मामले दर्ज हैं. जिनमें से अपहण और हत्या के एक मामले में उसे पहले ही 10 साल की सजा चुनाई जा चुकी है. उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस के डोजियर के अनुसार मुख्तार के परिवार के खिलाफ 36 मामले दर्ज हैं. स्वयं मुख्तार अंसारी के खिलाफ जो 61 मामले दर्ज हैं, उनमें से 4 में फैसला आ चुका है और 20 मामले अब भी उत्तर प्रदेश के अलग-अलग जिलों की अदालतों में चल रहे हैं.A total of 61 cases have been registered against Mukhtar Ansari.
