Azamgarh: A girl returning from coaching was run over by a car and died

Azamgarh: An 11-year-old girl died in a car collision near Chowki village on Devgaon Julie Marg in Devgaon Kotwali area on Monday late evening. The police sent the body for post-mortem. Anshi Yadav (11) is a resident of Kariya Gopalpur village of Devgaon Kotwali. She used to study at the house of uncle Anil Yadav in Nanihal Chowki village. Late on Monday evening, Anshi was walking from Nana’s house to Devgaon after taking classes from the coaching center. Then suddenly the car hit Anshi from behind. Anshi was brought to the hospital in Lalganj with the help of the villagers. Jahan was declared dead by the doctors. Aayush is the younger brother of the deceased. The car driver escaped from the spot. Devgaon Kotwal Vinay Kumar Mishra said that a case has been registered against the family members. Legal action will be taken.
