आर्थिक मंदी से जूझ रही भिवंडी मनपा बकाया कर वसूली मुहिम मे तेजी से राहत के आशार

भिवंडी – विकाश की योजनाओं तथा जनता की मूलभूत सुविधा में बाधक आर्थिक मंदी से जूझ रही भिवंडी महानगर पालिका के कर वसूली में अचानक तेज हो जाने से मनपा ने राहत की सांस ली है। मनपा प्रशासक एवं आयुक्त अजय वैद्य ने बकाया कर धारकों से कर अदा करने की अपील करते हुए कहा कि अपना बकाया कर भरकर मनपा का सहयोग करें।
महानगर पालिका के प्रशासक एवं आयुक्त अजय वैद्य ने सभी प्रभाग अधिकारियों को आदेश जारी किया है की मार्च २०२५ तक शत-प्रतिशत कर वसूली का लक्ष्य पूरा करना अति आवश्यक है। इस आदेश के बाद कर वसूली के लिए संबधित प्रभाग अधिकारियों ने बड़े बकायादारों के प्रति शक्ति दिखाते हुए जप्ती और नीलामी जैसी कड़ी कार्रवाई करनी शुरू कर दी है।कर विभाग ने २६ नवंबर २०२४ से वसूली अभियान तेज किया है। अब तक महानगर पालिका क्षेत्र में ८३ बड़े बकायादारों की संपत्तियों पर जप्ती की कार्रवाई की गई है। इनमें से २८ संपत्ति धरकों ने ४९,५८,९९३८ रुपये वसूले गए हैं। शेष ५५ संपत्तियों के मालिक यदि जल्द ही अपना बकाया कर जमा नहीं करते हैं तो उनकी भी संपत्तियों पर जल्द ही नीलामी की कार्रवाई की जाएगी। इसके साथ ही, यदि किसी संपत्ति धारक ने अनधिकृत रूप से नल कनेक्शन लिया है, तो उनके खिलाफ आर्थिक धोखाधड़ी के तहत मामला भी दर्ज किया जाएगा।
भिवंडी महानगर पालिका ने २०२४-२०२५ के वित्तीय वर्ष के दौरान बकायादारों को राहत देने के लिए अभय योजना लागू की थी। जिसके के तहत दो चरणों में ब्याज माफी योजना शुरू की थी। हालांकि, इसके बावजूद कई बकायादारों ने कर भुगतान नहीं किया। ऐसे बकायादारों पर अब महाराष्ट्र महानगर पालिका अधिनियम, १९४९ के तहत जप्ती की कार्रवाई करने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं।भिवंडी महानगरपालिका आयुक्त अजय वैद्य ने नागरिकों, व्यापारियों, व्यवसायियों से अपील की है कि वे अपनी संपत्तियों का बकाया कर जल्द से जल्द महानगर पालिका कार्यालय में जमा करें और जप्ती की कार्रवाई से बचें। महानगर पालिका के कर विभाग के उपायुक्त शैलेश दोंदे, सहायक आयुक्त (कर) सुधीर गुरव, कर मूल्यांकन अधिकारी गिरीधर घोष्टेकर और अन्य अधिकारियों की निगरानी में इस अभियान को चलाया जा रहा है।Bhiwandi – Bhiwandi Municipal Corporation, which has been struggling with economic recession which is hampering the development plans and basic facilities of the people, has taken a breather from the sudden acceleration in tax collection. Municipal Corporation Administrator and Commissioner Ajay Vaidya has issued an order to all ward officers that it is imperative to meet the target of 100 percent tax collection by March 2025. After this order, the concerned department officials have started taking strict action like confiscation and auctions against the big defaulters for tax recovery. The tax department has intensified the recovery campaign from 26 November 2024 So far, confiscation action has been taken against the properties of 83 big defaulters in the metropolitan area. Out of this, 28 property owners have recovered Rs.49,58,9938. If the owners of the remaining 55 properties do not pay their arrears soon, their properties will also be auctioned. Along with this, if any property owner has taken the tap connection illegally, a case under financial fraud will also be registered against them.
Bhiwandi Mahanagara Palika had implemented Abhay Yojana to provide relief to defaulters during the financial year 2024-2025. Under which interest waiver scheme was started in two phases. However, despite this, many defaulters did not pay the tax. Such defaulters have now been directed to take confiscation action under the Maharashtra Municipal Corporation Act, 1949. Bhiwandi Municipal Commissioner Ajay Vaidya has appealed to the citizens, traders, businessmen to hand over their properties to the Municipal Corporation office as soon as possible. Deposit in and avoid confiscation. This campaign is being conducted under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Tax Department Shailesh Donde, Assistant Commissioner (Tax) Sudhir Gurav, Tax Assessment Officer Giridhar Ghoshtekar and other officers.
