Azamgarh: Under the Mission Shakti Abhiyan (Phase-05) being run by the Uttar Pradesh government for the safety and self-reliance of women/girls, under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Azamgarh Hemraj Meena, in view of Mission Shakti Abhiyan Phase-05: On November 28, the Mission Shakti team formed in all the police stations of Azamgarh district created understanding on the problems and issues related to women and children for the safety, respect and self-reliance of women and girls and gave information about protection from domestic violence, dowry prohibition, prevention of sexual harassment at workplace, POCSO, child marriage prohibition and major crimes against the dignity of women and for redressal of other complaints related to violence against women 1. Awareness was created by providing information regarding Jan Sunwai portal, help desk of local police station, National/State Women Commission. Under Mission Shakti Abhiyan, all the police stations of the district organized police school/chaupal to create awareness among women/students.

28 नवंबर को जनपद आजमगढ़ के समस्त थानो में गठित मिशन शक्ति टीम द्वारा महिलाओं व बालिकाओं की सुरक्षा व सम्मान एवं स्वावलंबन हेतु महिला एवं बच्चों से सम्बन्धित समस्याओं एवं मुद्दों पर समझ बनाना व घरेलू हिंसा से संरक्षण, दहेज प्रतिषेध, कार्यस्थल पर लैंगिक उत्पीड़न निवारण, पॉक्सो, बाल विवाह प्रतिषेध व महिलाओं की गरिमा के विरुद्ध प्रमुख अपराधों की जानकारी दी गयी व महिला हिंसा से संबंधित अन्य शिकायतों के निवारण हेतु 1. वीमेन पावर लाइन (1090) 2. पुलिस आपातकालीन सेवा (112) 3. सीएम हेल्पलाइन नंबर (1076) 4. चाइल्ड हेल्पलाइन नंबर (1098) 5. वन स्टाप सेन्टर (181) 6. साइबर हेल्पलाइन नंबर (1930) 7. स्वास्थ्य सेवा हेल्पलाइन नंबर (102) 8. एम्बुलेन्स सेवा (108) 9. जनसुनवाई पोर्टल, स्थानीय थाने की हेल्प डेस्क, राष्ट्रीय/राज्य महिला आयोग के सम्बन्ध में जानकारी देकर जागरूक किया गया। मिशन-शक्ति-अभियान के तहत जनपद के समस्त थानों द्वारा पुलिस की पाठशाला/चौपाल लगाकर जागरूकता के क्रम में महिलाओं/छात्राओं को जागरुक किया गया।
