A heart-wrenching incident has taken place in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur on Saturday-Sunday night. Miscreants killed a youth and burnt his dead body at a bus stand near Omati police station area. This incident has created a sensation in the entire area. The police have identified the deceased as 32-year-old Vikas Patel alias Vicky, who was a resident of Naya Mohalla. Omti police reached the spot on receiving information about the incident. The fire was extinguished with the help of the fire brigade. Initial investigation revealed that Vikas was a person of criminal tendencies, against whom several criminal cases including illegal extortion and assault were registered. The police have arrested two security guards in this case. One of them is a resident of Baitul and the other is a resident of Jabalpur. CSP Pankaj Mishra said that during the interrogation, the accused told that the deceased was often drinking with them. Even on the night of the incident, he arrived drunk and started abusing. The guards tried to pacify him, but when he refused, he got angry and first hit him with a heavy object and then burnt the body.
मध्य प्रदेश के जबलपुर में शनिवार-रविवार की रात एक दिल दहला देने वाली घटना सामने आई है। ओमती थाना क्षेत्र के पुराने बस स्टैंड पर बदमाशों ने एक युवक की हत्या कर उसका शव जला दिया। इस घटना ने पूरे इलाके में सनसनी फैला दी है। पुलिस ने मृतक की पहचान 32 वर्षीय विकास पटेल उर्फ विक्की के रूप में की है, जो नया मोहल्ला का रहने वाला था।घटना की सूचना मिलते ही ओमती पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची। फायर ब्रिगेड की मदद से शव पर लगी आग को बुझाया गया। प्रारंभिक जांच में पता चला कि विकास आपराधिक प्रवृत्ति का व्यक्ति था, जिसके खिलाफ अवैध वसूली और मारपीट सहित कई आपराधिक मामले दर्ज थे।पुलिस ने इस मामले में दो सिक्योरिटी गार्ड को गिरफ्तार किया है। इनमें से एक बैतूल का और दूसरा जबलपुर का निवासी है। सीएसपी पंकज मिश्रा ने बताया की पूछताछ के दौरान आरोपियों ने बताया कि मृतक अक्सर उनके पास शराब पीने आता था। घटनावाली रात भी वह नशे में धुत्त होकर पहुंचा और गाली-गलौज करने लगा। गार्डों ने उसे शांत करने की कोशिश की, लेकिन जब वह नहीं माना, तो गुस्से में आकर उन्होंने पहले उसे भारी वस्तु से मारा और फिर शव को जला दिया।
