UP News/उपचुनाव: उत्तर प्रदेश में 9 सीटों के लिए मतदान शुरू
Lucknow: Voting for the by-elections in nine seats of the Vidhan Sabha in Uttar Pradesh has started from 7 am today. The commission has made special preparations to conduct the elections in a peaceful manner. The counting of votes will take place on November 23. Voting has started in Phulpur (Prayagraj), Katehri (Ambedkarnagar) and Mazwan (Mirzapur) seats. Chief Electoral Officer of UP Navdeep Rinwa said that the Election Commission has made extensive arrangements for fair and peaceful elections. 1237 of these polling stations are sensitive. The commission has also deployed 9 general observers, 5 police observers and 9 expenditure observers to closely monitor the polling. There are 1846846 male, 1588967 female and 161 third gender voters on these nine seats. Ghaziabad has the most 14 candidates and the least 5 candidates each in Khair and Seesamau assembly constituencies. There are total 3435974 voters on these seats. Whereas, 90 candidates including 11 women are in the fray. In addition to the voter's photo identity card, 12 other identity cards will be accepted for voting. In this by-election, Bharatiya Janata Party is contesting on eight seats and its ally Rashtriya Lok Dal on one seat. At the same time, SP is in the field on all nine seats with the support of Congress. BSP is also contesting all the nine seats in this by-election. Besides SP, BJP and BSP, other political parties are also in the fray to try their luck in Karahal assembly seat. The main contest is being considered between the SP and the BJP. It is known that eight seats have fallen due to the election of sitting MLAs to the Lok Sabha, while the by-election in the Sisamau Assembly seat of Kanpur has been awarded to SP MLA Irfan Solanki. This is the reason. In the 2022 assembly elections, the Samajwadi Party had won the seats of Sisamau, Katehri, Karahal, Milkipur and Kundarki. While BJP won in Phulpur, Ghaziabad, Mazwan and Khair. The Mirapur seat went to Ralod, which is now part of the NDA and an ally of the BJP. Congress is not fighting by-elections. It has given support to the candidates of the India Alliance
लखनऊ: उत्तर प्रदेश में विधानसभा की नौ सीटों में उपचुनाव के लिए मतदान आज सुबह सात बजे से शुरू हो गया है। शांतिपूर्ण ढंग से चुनाव संपन्न कराने के लिए आयोग ने विशेष तैयारियां की हैं।मतगणना 23 नवंबर को होगी।मीरापुर (मुजफ्फरनगर), कुन्दरकी (मुरादाबाद), गाजियाबाद, खैर सुरक्षित (अलीगढ़), करहल (मैनपुरी), सीसामऊ (कानपुर नगर), फूलपुर (प्रयागराज), कटेहरी (अम्बेडकरनगर) और मझवां (मिर्जापुर) सीट पर मतदान शुरू हो गया है। यूपी के मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी नवदीप रिणवा ने बताया कि चुनाव आयोग ने निष्पक्ष और शांतिपूर्ण चुनाव के लिए व्यापक इंतजाम किए हैं।मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने बताया कि उपचुनाव में कुल 1917 मतदान केंद्रों के 3718 मतदेय स्थल (पोलिंग बूथ) पर मतदान हो रहा है। इन मतदेय स्थलों में 1237 संवेदनशील हैं।मतदान पर पैनी नजर रखने के लिए आयोग ने 9 सामान्य प्रेक्षक, 5 पुलिस प्रेक्षक और 9 व्यय प्रेक्षक भी तैनात किए हैं। इन नौ सीटों पर 1846846 पुरुष, 1588967 महिला और 161 थर्ड जेंडर मतदाता हैं।सबसे अधिक 14 उम्मीदवार गाजियाबाद और सबसे कम 5-5 उम्मीदवार खैर और सीसामऊ विधानसभा क्षेत्र में हैं। इन सीटों पर कुल 3435974 मतदाता हैं। जबकि, 11 महिलाओं समेत 90 प्रत्याशी मैदान में हैं। मतदाता फोटो पहचान पत्र के अलावा 12 अन्य पहचान पत्र मतदान के लिए मान्य होंगे।इस उपचुनाव में भारतीय जनता पार्टी आठ व उसकी सहयोगी राष्ट्रीय लोकदल एक सीट पर चुनाव लड़ रही है। वहीं सपा, कांग्रेस के समर्थन से सभी नौ सीटों पर मैदान में है। बसपा भी इस उपचुनाव में सभी नौ सीटों पर ताल ठोक रही है।करहल विधानसभा सीट पर सपा, भाजपा और बसपा के अलावा अन्य राजनीतिक दलों भी अपनी किस्मत आजमाने मैदान में हैं। मुख्य मुकाबला सपा और भाजपा के बीच माना जा रहा है।ज्ञात हो कि विधानसभा सीटों की बात करें तो आठ सीटें मौजूदा विधायकों के लोकसभा सदस्य चुने जाने के कारण खाली हुई हैं, जबकि कानपुर की सीसामऊ विधानसभा सीट पर उपचुनाव सपा विधायक इरफान सोलंकी को सजा होने के कारण हो रहा है।वर्ष 2022 के विधानसभा चुनावों में सीसामऊ, कटेहरी, करहल, मिल्कीपुर और कुंदरकी सीट पर समाजवादी पार्टी ने जीत दर्ज की थी। जबकि भाजपा फूलपुर, गाजियाबाद, मझवां और खैर में जीती थे। मीरापुर सीट रालोद के खाते में गई थी, जो अब एनडीए का हिस्सा और भाजपा की सहयोगी है। कांग्रेस उपचुनाव नहीं लड़ रही है। उसने इंडिया गठबंधन के उम्मीदवारों को समर्थन दिया है|
