इस संबंध में रेलवे सूत्रों से मिली जानकारी के अनुसार। भोपाल के रानी कमलापति से चलकर जबलपुर जाने वाली जनशताब्दी एक्सप्रेस के AC कोच में उस वक्त हड़कंप मच गया, जब वहां जहरीला सांप पाया गया। कोच जहां एक सांप को देखते ही दिखती यात्रियों में चीख पुकार मच गई। इस संबंध में मिली जानकारी के अनुसार जिस कोच में सांप पाया गया, वह सी-वन कोच था. सांप सीट के ऊपर बने लगेज रैक में बैठा हुआ था। उसे देखते ही यात्री चीख पड़े. इस दौरान कुछ यात्री उठकर दूसरे डिब्बे की ओर भाग गए. यात्रियों ने तुरंत रेलवे स्टाफ और कोच अटेंडेंट को सांप की सूचना दी. इस दौरान सांप भी यात्रियों के सामान के पीछे जाकर छिप गया. जब तक सांप पकड़ में नहीं आया पूरे डिब्बे में दहशत का माहौल रहा।
कोच को किया गया लॉक
इस संबंध में सूत्रों ने बताया कि कोच में सर्प निकालने के बाद उसमें सवार यात्री बाहर निकल आए संबंधित अमले को इसकी जानकारी मिलने के बाद कोच को लॉक कर यात्रियों को अन्य कोच में शिफ्ट किया गया। बाद में गाड़ी जबलपुर पहुंचने के बाद सर्प को बाहर निकल गया।
