Deoria.District Magistrate Smt. Divya Mittal informed that under the Right to Punishment Act, 2009, 25 percent seats in 840 private schools of the district have been reserved for children from poor and underprivileged classes. Under this scheme, children from families with an annual income of less than one lakh rupees will be eligible for admission in these schools. Parents can apply on RTE portal (www.rte25upsdc.gov.in) from 1st December to 19th December. This facility will be available for those schools which are located within 1 km from the residence of the applicant. He said that this scheme is an important effort to integrate the children of deprived and weaker sections into the mainstream of education. Hundreds of children will benefit from their rights in the academic session 2024-25 through this initiative. Weaker I class children will also be able to get education in convent schools. The government will reimburse their fees. The District Magistrate said that according to the Right to Free and Compulsory Juvenile Education Act, 2009, underprivileged and weaker section children in non-aided recognized schools in pre-primary class-1. Admission is mandatory. Under this, the government will bear the entire fees of the selected children along with additional Rs 5,000 for dress, school material and other requirements. Parents can apply in schools located within one km radius of their residence. The selection process will be completed through lottery after scrutiny and verification of the application by the District Basic Education Officer. Admission of children selected in the lottery will be ensured. The process will be completed in four phases, in which the first phase will be held between December 1 and December 19, the second phase will be in January, the third phase will be in February and the fourth phase will last until March 2025. The District Magistrate also clarified that the eligibility categories for availing the benefit of this scheme include Scheduled Castes/Tribes, Backward Classes, Children of HIV/Cancer affected parents, Destitute and Handicapped children and BPL category families. Residence certificate, birth certificate, caste certificate, income certificate, and disability certificate if required must be submitted along with the application form.

देवरिया।जिलाधिकारी श्रीमती दिव्या मित्तल ने अवगत कराया कि शिक्षा का अधिकार अधिनियम, 2009 के अंतर्गत जनपद के 840 निजी विद्यालयों में 25 प्रतिशत सीटें निर्धन और वंचित वर्ग के बच्चों के लिए सुरक्षित की गई हैं। इस योजना के तहत एक लाख रुपये से कम वार्षिक आय वाले परिवारों के बच्चे इन विद्यालयों में प्रवेश के पात्र होंगे। अभिभावक 1 दिसंबर से 19 दिसंबर तक आरटीई पोर्टल (www.rte25upsdc.gov.in) पर आवेदन कर सकते हैं। यह सुविधा उन्हीं विद्यालयों के लिए उपलब्ध होगी, जो आवेदक के निवास स्थान से 1 किलोमीटर के भीतर स्थित हों। उन्होंने बताया है कि यह योजना वंचित और कमजोर वर्ग के बच्चों को शिक्षा की मुख्यधारा में जोड़ने का एक महत्त्वपूर्ण प्रयास है। इस पहल से शैक्षणिक सत्र 2024-25 में सैकड़ों बच्चों को उनके अधिकार का लाभ मिलेगा। दुर्बल आय वर्ग के बच्चे भी कॉन्वेंट स्कूलों में शिक्षा प्राप्त कर सकेंगे। सरकार उनके फीस की प्रतिपूर्ति करेगी।जिलाधिकारी ने बताया कि नि:शुल्क और अनिवार्य बाल शिक्षा का अधिकार अधिनियम, 2009 के अनुसार, गैर-सहायतित मान्यता प्राप्त विद्यालयों में वंचित समूह और कमजोर वर्ग के बच्चों को कक्षा-1 या पूर्व-प्राथमिक कक्षा में प्रवेश दिया जाना अनिवार्य है। इसके अंतर्गत चयनित बच्चों की पूरी फीस सरकार वहन करेगी और साथ ही ड्रेस, पाठ्य सामग्री तथा अन्य आवश्यकताओं के लिए 5,000 रुपये अतिरिक्त प्रदान किए जाएंगे।अभिभावक अपने निवास स्थान से एक किमी के दायरे में स्थित विद्यालयों में आवेदन कर सकते हैं। जिला बेसिक शिक्षा अधिकारी द्वारा आवेदन की जांच और सत्यापन के पश्चात चयन प्रक्रिया लॉटरी के माध्यम से पूर्ण होगी। लॉटरी में चयनित बच्चों का विद्यालय में प्रवेश सुनिश्चित किया जाएगा। यह प्रक्रिया चार चरणों में संपन्न होगी, जिसमें प्रथम चरण 1 दिसंबर से 19 दिसंबर के बीच आयोजित होगा, द्वितीय चरण जनवरी, तृतीय चरण फरवरी और चतुर्थ चरण मार्च 2025 तक चलेगा।जिलाधिकारी ने यह भी स्पष्ट किया कि इस योजना का लाभ उठाने के लिए पात्रता श्रेणियों में अनुसूचित जाति/जनजाति, पिछड़ा वर्ग, एचआईवी/कैंसर पीड़ित अभिभावकों के बच्चे, निराश्रित और दिव्यांग बच्चे तथा बीपीएल श्रेणी के परिवार शामिल हैं। आवेदन पत्र के साथ निवास प्रमाण पत्र, जन्म प्रमाण पत्र, जाति प्रमाण पत्र, आय प्रमाण पत्र, और यदि आवश्यक हो तो दिव्यांग प्रमाण पत्र प्रस्तुत करना अनिवार्य होगा।
