बच्चों को जरूर पिलाये पोलियो की खुराक:डीएम, डीएम की अध्यक्षता में जिला स्तरीय टास्क फोर्स की बैठक संपन्न
A district level task force meeting was held for the Pulse Polio campaign in the Gandhi Auditorium in Vikas Bhawan on Monday under the chairmanship of Deoria District Magistrate Divya Mittal. In the meeting, the District Magistrate said that the Pulse Polio campaign will be run in the district from 8 to 16 December. Under the campaign, children up to the age of five years in the district will be given two drops of polio medicine. The medicine will be administered at the booth on the first day of the campaign on 8 December. He said that India has become polio free, but polio is still present in some countries like Pakistan and Afghanistan. Therefore, there is a possibility of it returning again. For this reason, the Pulse Polio campaign is being run so that it is not allowed to return to our country under any circumstances. He said that no lapse should be allowed in the safety of children and polio doses should be administered compulsorily to children up to the age of 5 years. The DM said that two drops of polio dose should be administered every year so that the country's victory over polio can remain intact. DM said that the children who were deprived of pulse polio medicine on the first day will be administered the medicine by the health department team by going door to door from the next day. CMO Dr. Rajesh Jha said that about five lakh children will be administered polio dose during the campaign. A total of 1769 booths have been made for conducting the campaign. Similarly, 115 transit booths and 45 mobile teams have also been formed. 326 supervisors have been put on duty for supervision. During the campaign, the target has been set to administer polio medicine to children between 0 to 5 years of age in the district. On this occasion, CDO Pratyush Pandey, District Immunization Officer Dr. SK Sinha, CMS Dr. HK Mishra, DPM Poonam, representatives of WHO and UNICEF along with people from other departments were present.

देवरिया जिलाधिकारी दिव्या मित्तल की अध्यक्षता में सोमवार को विकास भवन स्थित गांधी सभागार में पल्स पोलियो अभियान के लिए जनपद स्तरीय टास्क फोर्स की बैठक हुई। बैठक में जिलाधिकारी ने कहा जिले में 8 से 16 दिसंबर तक पल्स पोलियो अभियान चलाया जायेगा। अभियान के तहत जिले में पांच वर्ष की उम्र तक के बच्चों को दो बूंद पोलियो की दवा पिलाई जायेगी। अभियान के पहले दिन 8 दिसंबर को बूथ पर दवा पिलाई जायेगी। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत पोलियो मुक्त हो चुका है, लेकिन पाकिस्तान और अफगानिस्तान जैसे कुछ देशों में पोलियो अब भी है। लिहाजा इसके फिर से लौटने की आशंका बनी रहती है। इसी वजह से पल्स पोलियो अभियान चलाया जा रहा है ताकि किसी भी हालत में इसे अपने देश में पुनः न लौटने दिया जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि बच्चों की सुरक्षा में किसी भी तरह की चूक न होने दें और अपने 5 वर्ष तक के बच्चे को पोलियो की खुराक अनिवार्य रूप से पिलाये। डीएम ने कहा कि दो बूंद पोलियो की खुराक हर साल पिलाये जिससे देश को पोलियो पर मिली जीत बरकरार रह सके। डीएम ने कहा कि पहले दिन पल्स पोलियो की दवाई से वंचित रहने वाले बच्चों को अगले दिन से घर-घर जाकर स्वास्थ्य विभाग की टीम द्वारा दवा पिलाई जायेगी।सीएमओ डॉ राजेश झा ने कहा कि अभियान के दौरान करीब पांच लाख बच्चों को पोलियो की खुराक पिलाई जाएगी । अभियान के संचालन के लिये कुल 1769 बूथ बनाये गये है। इसी प्रकार 115 ट्रांजिट बूथ और 45 मोबाइल टीमें भी बनाई गई है। सुपरविजन के लिए 326 सुपरवाइजरों की डयूटी लगाई गई है। अभियान के दौरान जिले के 0 से 5 वर्ष तक के बच्चों को पोलियो दवा पिलाने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है।
इस मौके पर सीडीओ प्रत्यूष पांडेय जिला प्रतिरक्षण अधिकारी डॉ एसके सिन्हा, सीएमएस डॉ एचके मिश्रा, डीपीएम पूनम, डब्ल्यूएचओ व यूनिसेफ के प्रतिनिधि सहित अन्य विभाग के लोग मौजद रहे।
