Azamgarh: Patients are reaching hospitals with fans and coolers from their homes

While people in Uttar Pradesh are suffering from the rising heat, patients and their patients coming to hospitals for treatment are suffering from the heat due to lack of proper arrangements in health centres. People are picking up fans and coolers from their homes to get rid of the heat and bringing them to the hospital so that he can breathe a sigh of relief. This condition of people is exposing all the claims of preparations of health centers. It is to be mentioned that the case of Azamgarh district women’s hospital. Where patients coming for treatment and their patients are arriving from their homes with fans, coolers, table fans, extension wires, boards to deal with the heat. Coolers running without water are not relieving patients in this scorching heat. Meanwhile, some people who cannot bring fan coolers from their homes are trying to cope with the heat with hand fans. In such a situation, the condition of patients and patients is revealing the health centers. In fact, every two to three beds have a fan which is not enough to deal with the scorching heat. People have brought coolers from their homes but they are also giving hot air due to lack of water in the hospital. Doctors are not arriving to see the patient. Not only that, I am not getting enough water to drink. She said she complained several times but no one was listening. Even after bringing fans from homes, there is no significant relief from the heat. The CMS of the women’s hospital, Dr. Amita Agarwal says fans are installed and running everywhere in the hospital. OPD, wards have coolers. There is nothing wrong with the system but, if a patient is bringing a fan and cooler from home, what can we do.
