With the aim of maintaining law and order and ensuring quick resolution of the problems of the general public, CO Jitendra Singh of Ghosi Circle has started a commendable initiative under the intention of the state government. CO Jitendra Singh listens to the problems of the complainants coming from the area at his office daily from 10 am to 2 pm and also gives immediate instructions to the concerned to get them resolved. In the public hearing, the problems of the people often include land disputes, family feuds, bullying, fraud and other social issues. CO Jitendra Singh himself listens to all the cases seriously and where solution is possible on the spot, he also gets it resolved by issuing orders immediately. At the same time, subordinate police officers are instructed to solve complex cases under the legal process. This system has given great relief to the complainants. People say that due to the efforts of the CO, they do not have to wander around with their problems. In many cases, a settlement is reached on the spot, which saves time and money. CO Jitendra Singh said that listening to the problems of the public and solving them is the biggest responsibility of the police. To ensure that no victim has to go from police station to police station, I have decided to sit in Janta Darshan for four hours every day and listen to the people. Every problem will be solved in a fair and transparent manner. No injustice will be allowed to happen to anyone. He further said that the real responsibility of the police-administration is to serve the public. Our priority is to strengthen the bond of trust between the public and the police. He believes that the public will get justice only when their voice is heard without any fear and pressure.

कानून व्यवस्था को दुरुस्त बनाए रखने और आम जनता की समस्याओं का त्वरित निस्तारण सुनिश्चित करने के उद्देश्य से घोसी सर्किल के सीओ जितेंद्र सिंह ने प्रदेश सरकार के मंशा के तहत एक सराहनीय पहल शुरू की है। सीओ जितेंद्र सिंह अपने कार्यालय पर रोजाना सुबह 10 बजे से दोपहर 2 बजे तक क्षेत्र से आने वाले फरियादियों की समस्याएं सुनते हैं और उनका समाधान कराने के लिए संबंधित को तत्काल निर्देश भी देते हैं।
जन सुनवाई मे लोगों की समस्याओं में प्रायः जमीनी विवाद, पारिवारिक कलह, दबंगई, धोखाधड़ी और अन्य सामाजिक मुद्दे प्रमुख रूप से सामने आते हैं। सीओ जितेंद्र सिंह स्वयं सभी मामलों को गंभीरता से सुनते हैं और जहां मौके पर समाधान संभव होता है तुरंत आदेश जारी कर निस्तारण भी कराते हैं। वहीं जटिल प्रकरणों को विधिक प्रक्रिया के तहत सुलझाने के लिए अधीनस्थ पुलिस अधिकारियों को निर्देशित किया जाता है। इस व्यवस्था से फरियादियों को बड़ी राहत मिली है। लोगों का कहना है कि सीओ के प्रयासों से उन्हें अपनी समस्याओं को लेकर भटकना नहीं पड़ रहा है। कई मामलों में मौके पर समझौता हो जाता है जिससे समय और धन की बचत होती है।
सीओ जितेंद्र सिंह ने बताया कि जनता की समस्याएं सुनना और उनका समाधान करना पुलिस की सबसे बड़ी जिम्मेदारी है। किसी भी पीड़ित को थाने-दर-थाने चक्कर न काटने पड़ें इसके लिए मैंने तय किया है कि रोजाना चार घंटे जनता दर्शन में बैठकर लोगों की बातें सुनूं। हर समस्या का समाधान निष्पक्ष और पारदर्शी तरीके से किया जाएगा। किसी के साथ अन्याय नहीं होने दिया जाएगा। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि पुलिस-प्रशासन का असली दायित्व जनता की सेवा करना है। जनता और पुलिस के बीच विश्वास की डोर मजबूत हो यही हमारी प्राथमिकता है। उनका मानना है कि जनता को न्याय तभी मिलेगा जब उनकी आवाज बिना किसी भय और दबाव के सुनी जाएगी।
