Over the last few months, announcements around Tamannaah Bhatia’s upcoming films have dropped one at a time. A title here, a first look there. But when you step back and look at the full picture, something interesting emerges. With Ragini 3, Maria IPS, Purushan, Vvan and an upcoming movie opposite Ajay Devgn, all slated for 2026-2027, Tamannaah has quietly put together one of the more varied line-ups among her contemporaries. These aren’t five films chasing the same audience or even operating in the same creative space. If anything, they seem to be pulling in completely different directions.
That’s what makes the slate stand out. Ragini 3 brings her into a franchise that already comes with its own audience and expectations. Maria IPS sees her draw inspiration from a real life story, Purushan places her firmly in the territory of mainstream Tamil commercial cinema.
