मुंबई : मुंबई में आयोजित ‘इंडियन ऑयल शाम-ए-अख्तरी’ महान ग़ज़ल सम्राज्ञी बेगम अख्तर को समर्पित एक ऐसी संगीतमय संध्या बनी, जिसने संगीत प्रेमियों को भावनाओं से सराबोर कर दिया। पद्मश्री डॉ. सोमा घोष ने अपनी दिलकश प्रस्तुति से बेगम अख्तर की अमर ग़ज़लों को नया जीवन दिया। “बेगम अख्तर सिर्फ़ एक गायिका नहीं, बल्कि एहसास और अदब की अमर आवाज़ हैं,” इस भावना को उन्होंने हर प्रस्तुति में साकार किया।कार्यक्रम का विशेष आकर्षण डॉ. शुभंकर घोष द्वारा निर्मित बेगम अख्तर के जीवन पर आधारित फिल्म रही, जिसने उनके संघर्ष और कला-साधना को प्रभावशाली ढंग से सामने रखा। “जब कला श्रद्धांजलि बन जाए, तब हर सुर इतिहास रच देता है,” यह अहसास पूरे सभागार में गूंजता रहा। हाउसफुल रहे इस आयोजन में अनेक गणमान्य अतिथियों की उपस्थिति और अंत में दर्शकों की स्टैंडिंग ओवेशन ने इस शाम को सचमुच अविस्मरणीय बना दिया।

A special highlight of the evening was a film on Begum Akhtar’s life, produced by Dr. Shubhankar Ghosh, which poignantly showcased her inspiring journey, struggles, and lifelong dedication to music.
