Annoyed with the arbitrariness of private hospitals in Jabalpur, Jabalpur Youth Congress officials and workers met Jabalpur's Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Sanjay Mishra and handed over a memorandum of their seven-point demands. In the memorandum, the Youth Congress has highlighted the problems of the common man and has clarified that the private hospitals of Jabalpur have become completely arbitrary and are filling their pockets by charging exorbitant bills in the guise of treating patients. They have demanded that as soon as a patient reaches a hospital, the treatment to be given to him and the cost involved in it should be clearly told. Along with this, the rate list of sonography and other tests should be clearly displayed in the hospital so that the patient can get treatment according to his budget. It has often been seen that a bill of lakhs of rupees is imposed on the patient and then after that, many times situations of dispute also arise. Giving his reaction to the advertisement of the Youth Congress, Dr. Sanjay Mishra said that soon the private hospitals will be directed after considering their demands.
जबलपुर में निजी अस्पतालों की मनमानिया से नाराज होकर जबलपुर युवक कांग्रेस के पदाधिकारी और कार्यकर्ताओं ने जबलपुर के मुख्य चिकित्सा एवं स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी डॉक्टर संजय मिश्रा से मुलाकात कर अपनी सात सूत्रीय मांगों का ज्ञापन सोपा है। ज्ञापन में युवक कांग्रेस ने आमजन की मुसीबत पर प्रकाश डालते हुए स्पष्ट किया है कि जबलपुर के निजी अस्पताल पूर्ण रूप से मनमानी पर उतर आए हैं और मरीज का उपचार करने की आड़ में अनाप-शनाप बेल लगाकर अपनी जेब में भर रहे उन्होंने मांग की है कि प्रत्येक अस्पताल में मरीज के पहुंचते ही उसे दिए जाने वाले उपचार एवं उसमें आने वाले खर्च को स्पष्ट रूप से बता दिया जाए इसके साथ ही अस्पताल में सोनोग्राफी एवं अन्य जांचों की रेट लिस्ट स्पष्ट रूप से लगा दी जाए ताकि मरीज अपने बजट के अनुरूप ही इलाज करवा अक्सर देखा गया है कि मरीज के ऊपर लाखों रुपए का बिल ठोक दिया जाता है और फिर उसके बाद कई बार विवाद की स्थितियां भी बनती है युवक कांग्रेस के विज्ञापन पर अपनी प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए डॉक्टर संजय मिश्रा ने कहा कि जल्द ही उनकी मांगों पर विचार करते हुए निजी अस्पतालों को निर्देशित किया जाएगा।
