लाखों की बिजली चोरी का पर्दाफाश
Bhiwandi - The vigilance team of Torrent Power Company in Bhiwandi Guljar Nagar area caught a case of electricity theft worth Rs 3.13 lakhs. It is alleged that two local residents were using electricity illegally for the past one year by tampering with electricity meters. Shantinagar Police has registered a case and started investigation in this matter. A team of Vigilance Department of Torrent Power Company, led by Executive Officer Shruti Anil Kamble, raided Gulzar Nagar. During the investigation, it was found that Mustaq Ahmed Habibullah Ansari and Mohammad Dawood Khan, residents of Nagaon-2 Gulzar Nagar, illegally used 13,462 units of electricity by tampering with electricity meters. The total amount of this theft has been estimated at Rs 3,13,527.24. On the complaint of the company officials, a case has been registered against both the accused at the Shantinagar Police Station under Section 135 of the Indian Electricity Act, 2003. Assistant Police Inspector is investigating the case. The police say that the accused will be taken into custody and questioned soon. Officials of Torrent Power Company said that regular investigation operations are being conducted to curb electricity theft. This action is also part of that. He also said that electricity theft causes heavy losses to the company, which affects the honest consumers. After this incident, a sensation has spread in the area. Local citizens say that strict action should be taken against such crimes so that no one dares to do such a thing in future. Torrent Power has warned that no one involved in power theft cases will be spared. The company has also appealed to the citizens that if they get information about power theft anywhere, they should report it immediately.

भिवंडी – भिवंडी गुलजार नगर इलाके में टोरेंट पावर कंपनी की सतर्कता टीम ने बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए 3.13 लाख रुपये की बिजली चोरी का मामला पकड़ा है। आरोप है कि दो स्थानीय निवासियों ने बिजली मीटर में छेड़छाड़ कर पिछले एक साल से अवैध रूप से बिजली का उपयोग कर रहे थे। इस मामले में शांतिनगर पुलिस ने केस दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है।
टोरेंट पावर कंपनी की सतर्कता विभाग की टीम, जिसका नेतृत्व एग्जीक्यूटिव ऑफिसर श्रृति अनिल कांबले कर रही थीं, ने गुलजार नगर में छापा मारा। जांच के दौरान पाया गया कि नागांव-2 गुलजार नगर के निवासी मुस्ताक अहमद हबीबुल्लाह अंसारी और मोहम्मद दाऊद खान ने बिजली मीटर में गड़बड़ी कर 13,462 यूनिट बिजली का अवैध उपयोग किया। इस चोरी की कुल राशि 3,13,527.24 रुपये आंकी गई है।कंपनी के अधिकारी की शिकायत पर शांतिनगर पुलिस स्टेशन में दोनों आरोपियों के खिलाफ भारतीय बिजली अधिनियम 2003 की धारा 135 के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया है। मामले की जांच सहायक पुलिस निरीक्षक घोलप कर रहे हैं। पुलिस का कहना है कि जल्द ही आरोपियों को हिरासत में लेकर पूछताछ की जाएगी।टोरेंट पावर कंपनी के अधिकारियों ने कहा कि बिजली चोरी पर अंकुश लगाने के लिए नियमित रूप से जांच अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। यह कार्रवाई भी उसी का हिस्सा है। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि बिजली चोरी से कंपनी को भारी नुकसान होता है, जिसका असर ईमानदार उपभोक्ताओं पर पड़ता है।इस घटना के बाद इलाके में सनसनी फैल गई है। स्थानीय नागरिकों का कहना है कि इस तरह के अपराधों पर सख्त कार्रवाई होनी चाहिए ताकि भविष्य में कोई भी ऐसी हरकत करने की हिम्मत न करे। टोरेंट पावर ने चेतावनी दी है कि बिजली चोरी के मामलों में शामिल किसी भी व्यक्ति को बख्शा नहीं जाएगा। कंपनी ने नागरिकों से भी अपील की है कि यदि उन्हें कहीं पर भी बिजली चोरी की जानकारी मिले, तो तुरंत इसकी सूचना दें।
