Mumbai:

Actress, Producer & host Nikita Rawal has always been known for her fearless approach when it comes to conversations. The stylish and charismatic personality has in the past as well revealed some interesting eye-opening facts about the industry that have resonated with the audience and no wonder, she’s hailed and loved immensely for her blunt approach.

For someone like Nikita, mental health has always been of paramount importance and no wonder, she’s always ensured from her end that she keeps her mental health in check and always on point. Not just about herself, with her motivating words, she’s also helped many others be self aware and positive. Recently, Nikita Rawal was asked about her take on the importance of mental health and what she feels about many actors in the past giving into the pressure and ending up committing suicide. Regarding the same, Nikita shares,

“For me, mental health has always been extremely important. If you are in a good and positive space of mind, you can take good care of yourself both personally and professionally. That’s what I always intend. To be honest, I don’t let anything get into my head. Neither do I take my success too seriously or my failure. Both success and failure are part of an individual’s life and it’s important to have that bifurcation between personal and professional life. You can’t let either affect your sanity. Yes, unfortunately many actors in the past have fallen to the pressure of mental health and have committed suicide. Its heartbreaking and I am in no position to comment about what made them take the extreme step and neither should I comment. It’s very unfortunate. But yes, I do feel they ended up taking the extreme step because of loneliness. Sometimes, as celebrities, you might feel that the world around is yours and still feel very lonely. That loneliness is very disturbing. So, I would say to everyone that whenever you feel that things aren’t right, just speak and communicate with someone. Don’t absorb the pressure all by yourself. Speak to your near and dear ones and if needed, take professional help regarding mental health. Life is the universe’s best gift to us and we must do everything needed positively to protect it. May God bless everyone with love and blessings.”

Well, kudos to Nikita for shedding light on such a matter and opening up in her candid fashion. Here’s hoping her golden words strike a chord with the audience and more people take her notes seriously for a better tomorrow. We wish Nikita all the very best for her future endeavours.
