Bastar: JNU riot over Ada Sharma’s film, SFI cut off power to stop screening of bastar

Superstar actress Ada Sharma is in the spotlight these days for her upcoming film ‘Bastar: The Naxal Story’. The audience is eagerly waiting for the film. Recently, the cast poster and the trailer of the film were released from the film, which boosted the excitement of the fans.Now recently, the screening of Bastar was held at Jawaharlal Nehru University and there has been a lot of commotion during it.Jawaharlal National Arts Forum is holding a pre-release screening of “Bastar the Naxal Story” at Nehru University campus. The film is set to release on March 15. The film’s creative director and producer Vipul Amritlal Shah,Director Sudipto Sen and lead actor Ada Sharma also joined the panel discussion of the pre-release screening. During the screening, a commotion has started in JNU. More than 100 SFI students are protesting against the screening of the film. The entry to the venue has been blocked by protesters. SFI also cut the lights of the auditorium twice. so as to stop the screening of the film.Actor Ada Sharma, who is adept in acting as well as martial arts,’s next film ‘Bastar the Naxal Story’ is a film on a subject to which mainstream cinema has paid little attention. It is a well-known fact that the number of security personnel killed in Naxal attacks in the past five to six decades has been far more than the number of soldiers killed in the India-Pakistan wars Propaganda has told. However, the actress has broken her silence on it. The actress said, “When you play a tough cop like IPS Neerja Madhavan in Bastar, I want people to think that I have portrayed him in the strongest, most fearless and powerful way. I want people in the film Believe every word I say.” Ada added, “Once people see the film, they will understand what it is about. But as I also said during The Kerala Story , this is a democracy . People can choose to watch the film or not.They can comment after watching the film.We should also respect people who are commenting without having seen the film because it is their choice.
