प्लास्टिक कचरे से निपटने में भारत की मदद के लिए प्लास्टोनिक्स वी टेक्नोलॉजीज के साथ काम करेगा
TORONTO, Canada-based plastic recycling technologies company 'Plastonics' on Monday announced a partnership with Bengaluru and New York-based IT services company 'V Technologies' to help India deal with plastic waste. The two companies will venture into a 50:50 joint venture to develop a plastic waste recycling system in India using Plastonix's patent pending technology. Wee Technologies will select a site for its first facility, the company said in a statement. Using its in-house engineering team, it will design, build and integrate the pilot plant with its proprietary equipment and manufacturing. We Technologies will use this facility to optimize the commercial-level effectiveness of the technology for the Indian market. It will also use this information to benefit the joint venture with Plastonics. According to Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data, the country has generated around 9.46 million tonnes of plastic waste in the year 2023. It is estimated that only eight percent of plastic waste is being recycled. Roland Kielbasiewicz, CEO of Plastonics said, "We technology with its significant strength of engineering is a great fit for Plastonics. We look forward to working closely with their team in the years to come." After achieving the target of the pilot plant, Plastonics and V Technologies will jointly launch a new plastic recycling program for India, to significantly reduce plastic waste in the region. In 2016, the country formulated the Plastic Waste Management Rules to manage plastic waste at the national level. Choko Valliappa, Founder and CEO of We Technologies said, "The variety and pervasive use of plastics in the modern world has made plastic waste disposal a major challenge that needs to be addressed. टोरंटो, भारत को प्लास्टिक कचरे से निपटने में मदद करने के लिए कनाडा स्थित प्लास्टिक रिसाइक्लिंग टेक्नोलॉजीज कंपनी ‘प्लास्टोनिक्स’ ने सोमवार को बेंगलुरु और न्यूयॉर्क स्थित आईटी सर्विस कंपनी ‘वी टेक्नोलॉजीज’ के साथ मिलकर काम करने का ऐलान किया है।
दोनों कंपनियां प्लास्टोनिक्स की पेटेंट पेंडिंग टेक्नोलॉजी का इस्तेमाल करते हुए भारत में प्लास्टिक वेस्ट रिसाइक्लिंग सिस्टम को विकसित करने के लिए 50:50 संयुक्त उद्यम का प्रयास करेंगी।
कंपनी ने एक बयान में कहा कि वी टेक्नोलॉजीज अपनी पहली सुविधा के लिए एक साइट का चयन करेगी। अपनी इन-हाउस इंजीनियरिंग टीम का इस्तेमाल करते हुए वह पायलट प्लांट को डिजाइन, निर्माण और इसके मालिकाना उपकरण और विनिर्माण के साथ जोड़ेगी।
वी टेक्नोलॉजीज इस सुविधा का इस्तेमाल भारतीय बाजार के लिए प्रौद्योगिकी की व्यावसायिक-स्तरीय प्रभावशीलता को अनुकूलित करने के लिए करेगी। इसके साथ ही प्लास्टोनिक्स के साथ मिलकर संयुक्त उद्यम को लाभ पहुंचाने के लिए इस जानकारी का भी उपयोग करेगी।
केंद्रीय प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड (सीपीसीबी) के आंकड़ों के अनुसार, देश ने साल 2023 में लगभग 9.46 मिलियन टन प्लास्टिक कचरा उत्पन्न किया है। अनुमान है कि केवल आठ प्रतिशत प्लास्टिक कचरे को रिसाइकिल किया जा रहा है।
प्लास्टोनिक्स के सीईओ रोलैंड कीलबासिविक्ज ने कहा, “इंजीनियरिंग की अपनी महत्वपूर्ण ताकत के साथ वी टेक्नोलॉजी प्लास्टोनिक्स के लिए बेहद ही उपयुक्त है। हम आने वाले वर्षों में उनकी टीम के साथ मिलकर काम करने के लिए तत्पर हैं।”
पायलट प्लांट के लक्ष्य को हासिल करने के बाद प्लास्टोनिक्स और वी टेक्नोलॉजीज मिलकर भारत के लिए एक नई प्लास्टिक रीसाइक्लिंग कार्यक्रम को शुरू करेंगे, ताकि क्षेत्र में प्लास्टिक कचरे को महत्वपूर्ण रूप से कम किया जा सके।
देश ने साल 2016 में प्लास्टिक कचरे को राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर प्रबंधित करने के लिए प्लास्टिक कचरा प्रबंधन नियम बनाए थे।
वी टेक्नोलॉजीज के संस्थापक और सीईओ चोको वल्लियप्पा ने कहा, “आधुनिक दुनिया में प्लास्टिक की विविधता और सर्वव्यापक उपयोग ने प्लास्टिक कचरे के निपटान को एक बड़ी चुनौती बना दिया है, जिसका समाधान किया जाना चाहिए। हम प्लास्टोनिक्स के साथ साझेदारी करने के लिए उत्साहित हैं।”
