Patna: BPSC candidates protesting outside the examination center slapped by DM

Patna:. The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) preliminary examination saw a lot of excitement. After the exam ended, students started rioting at Bapu Exam Complex in Kumharar, Patna.

District Magistrate Chandrashekhar Singh Patna along with SSP Rajeev Mishra reached the spot to handle the ruckus of BPSC examinees. While the officials were explaining to the students, the DM of Patna slapped one of the students who was making a ruckus. After the slapping incident, the policemen standing there caught that student and took him with them.It is worth noting that the candidates were making an uproar over the irregularities in the BPSC examination. He alleged that the question paper was given to him late. Candidates came out with question paper and OMR sheet during the examination. He also tore the question paper.The 70th Joint Preliminary Examination conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) was conducted at 912 centers in Bihar on Friday. The examination was conducted at 60 examination centers in the capital Patna. Four lakh 83 thousand candidates had applied for this exam. The exam was conducted in one shift from 12 PM to 2 PM.Barsida Rashid, a resident of Bihar’s Kaimur district, told IANS that the paper was very good and the history section was particularly helpful. BPSC preparations were very good. Another student Anurag Kesari said that this was my second attempt. The current affairs questions in the paper were good. If one prepares well even for two months, he can score good marks. The preparation of BPSC was fine, but the commission knows about the internal arrangements.
