Two individuals, residents of Bahrampur and Phadsara Khurd villages in the Ghosi and Doharighat police station areas, had loans totaling over ₹15 lakh fraudulently withdrawn from their accounts at the HDFC Bank branches in Ghosi and Badhalganj without their knowledge. The fraudulent loan and withdrawals occurred in both accounts in April and May 2025. Both account holders have filed a lawsuit against a bank official and an unknown individual. People are beginning to doubt the functioning of HDFC Bank. Om Prakash Singh, a resident of Bahrampur in the Ghosi police station area, alleged in a lawsuit filed with the police station that loans totaling ₹10 lakh, each worth ₹5 lakh, were fraudulently approved from his HDFC Ghosi account in April by a bank official and an unknown individual without his knowledge. He further alleged that ₹24,000 previously deposited in his account was fraudulently withdrawn by online transfers to other accounts. Police have registered a case against the accused bank official and the unknown individual and are investigating. Monica Rai, a resident of Farsara Khurd village in the Doharighat police station area, also has an account with the HDFC Bank Badhalganj, Gorakhpur branch. When her husband, Sandeep Rai, received two calls from the bank asking for a loan installment, he was informed that a loan of ₹5,88,609 had been withdrawn from their account in three installments on May 25th by an unknown person, in collusion with a bank official. Both allege that the loan was approved without their knowledge and without their signatures on any documents. Both allege that this fraud could not have occurred without the involvement of bank officials. Ghosi and Doharighat police have registered a case and are investigating from all angles. In this regard, Kotwal Pramod Kumar Singh stated that a case will be filed and an investigation will be conducted from all angles. The bank's role is also under investigation.
घोसी। मऊ। घोसी एवं दोहरीघाट कोतवाली क्षेत्र के बहरामपुर एवं फड़सरा खुर्द गांव निवासी दो व्यक्तियों के घोसी एवं बडहलगंज स्थित एचडीएफसी बैंक की शाखा मे स्थित उनके खाते में बिना जानकारी के रु 15 लाख से अधिक का लोन पास कर फर्जी ढंग से निकाल भी लिया गया। दोनों व्यक्तियों के खातों में अप्रैल एवं मई 025 मे फर्जी लोनिंग एवं निकासी हुई। दोनों खाता धारको ने बैंक अधिकारी के साथ अज्ञात के विरुद्ध मुकदमा दर्ज कराया है। लोगों मे एचडीएफसी बैंक की कार्यप्रणाली पर शक होने लगा है। घोसी कोतवाली के बहराम पुर निवासी ओम प्रकाश सिंह के द्वारा कोतवाली मे दर्ज मुकदमा मे आरोप लगाया कि उसके एचडीएफसी घोसी खाते से अप्रैल मे धोखाधड़ी कर पांच पांच लाख का कुल दस लाख का लोन बिना मेरी जानकारी के बैंक अधिकारी एवं अज्ञात के द्वारा पास करा कर उसके साथ मेरे खाते में पूर्व मे जमा रु 24 हजार रुपये को फर्जी तरीके से दुसरो के खातों मे आनलाइन ट्रांसफर कर निकाल लिया गया। जिसके संबंध में पुलिस आरोपी बैंक अधिकारी एवं अज्ञात व्यक्ति के विरुद्ध केस दर्ज कर जांच कर रही है।
वही दोहरीघाट कोतवाली क्षेत्र के फरसरा खुर्द गांव निवासी मोनिका राय का भी एचडीएफसी बडहलगंज गोरखपुर शाखा में खाता है। मोनिका राय के मोबाइल पर बैंक से कर्ज की किस्त को जमा करने का दो बार फोन आने पर जब इनके पति संदीप राय बैंक में जानकारी करने गए तो उनको बताया गया की उनके खाते में मई 25 मे तीन बार में रू 588609 का लोन कर अज्ञात व्यक्ति द्वारा बैंक अधिकारी की मिली भगत से कई खातों में ट्रांसफर कर निकाल लिया गया। दोनों ने आरोप लगाया की बिना उनकी जानकारी के बिना किसी कागज पर हस्ताक्षर कराये लोन पास करा कर गलत तरीके से निकाल लिया गया। दोनों का आरोप है कि बिना बैंक अधिकारी के मिलीभगत के यह फ्राड नहीं हो सकता।घोसी एवं दोहरीघाट पुलिस मुकदमा दर्ज कर हर एंगल से जांच कर रही है। इस सम्बन्ध में कोतवाल प्रमेंद्रकुमारसिंह ने बताया कि मुकदमा दर्ज कर हर एंगल से जांच होगी। साथ ही बैंक की भूमिका भी जांच के दायरे में है।
