Masked miscreants wreak havoc in Mubarakpur; bike riders kill milk vendor
Milk vendor shot dead in broad daylight in Azamgarh, panic grips the area

Azamgarh. Around 11:15 a.m. on Monday afternoon, unidentified masked bike-borne assailants shot and killed a milk vendor in Manjharia village, under the Mubarakpur police station area. The deceased was identified as 52-year-old Patiraj, a resident of Pieropur, who supported his family by selling milk. Upon receiving information about the incident, police arrived at the scene and began an investigation. Patiraj was reportedly returning home from selling milk when the assailants opened fire and fled the scene. According to family members, Patiraj’s wife is currently at her parents’ home with their younger son, while the elder son works abroad. This brutal murder has plunged the family into grief. The family is inconsolable, and the entire village is filled with grief and anger. Locals have strongly condemned the incident and raised questions about the rising crime and poor security arrangements in the area. Police officials said the motive behind the incident is being investigated and footage from nearby CCTV cameras is being examined to identify the culprits. Police claim the accused will be arrested soon. This incident has created an atmosphere of panic in the area.
