The original version of Sarhad had generated considerable curiosity back in the day, with an impressive cast featuring Mithun Chakraborty, Vinod Khanna and Bindiya Goswami. However, despite the excitement around the project, the film never went on floors and eventually remained one of Bollywood’s most talked-about unreleased ventures.

Now, with Nidhi Dutta actively carrying forward the JP Films’ legacy and revisiting stories rooted in patriotism and drama, there is growing chatter about whether Sarhad could finally see the light of the day.
