उलानबटोर: देश के राष्ट्रीय जूनोटिक रोग केंद्र (एनसीजेडडी) का हवाला देते हुए स्थानीय मीडिया ने बताया कि पश्चिमी मंगोलियाई प्रांत उव्स में एंथ्रेक्स के दो मामले सामने आए हैं।राष्ट्रीय जूनोटिक रोग केंद्र (एनसीजेडडी) के अनुसार इस वायरस से प्रांत का एक प्रशासनिक उपखंड ज़ुंगोवी सौम में 32 वर्षीय पुरुष और 34 वर्षीय महिला इससे पीड़ित है।व्यक्ति को बीमारी से पीड़ित एक गाय को मारने के बाद यह बीमारी हुई, जबकि महिला उसी जानवर का मांस खाने के बाद संक्रमित हुई।संक्रमित लोगों को गंभीर हालत में स्थानीय अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है। वहीं बीमार जानवर के करीब रहने वाले अन्य 9 लोगों को डॉक्टरों की निगरानी में अस्पताल में अलग रखा गया है।केंद्र ने कहा कि इस प्रकोप के कारण सौम प्रांत की निगरानी की जा रही है।राष्ट्रीय जूनोटिक रोग केंद्र (एनसीजेडडी) के अनुसार, सभी 21 मंगोलियाई प्रांतों में से ग्यारह अब एंथ्रेक्स के खतरे में हैं।बता दें कि एंथ्रेक्स एक दुर्लभ प्रकार का संक्रामक रोग है। यह बैसिलस एंथ्रेसिस नामक जीवाणु से फैलता है। एंथ्रेक्स दुनिया भर में जंगली और घरेलू खुर वाले जानवरों, खासकर मवेशियों, भेड़, बकरियों, ऊंटों और मृगों में स्वाभाविक रूप से पाया जाता है।मनुष्यों में यह वायरस तब होता है जब वह जानवरों या जानवरों की खाल को छूने से फैलने वाले बैक्टीरिया के संपर्क में आने से होता है।हवा के माध्यम से भी एंथ्रेक्स वायरस फैलने का खतरा रहता है।
