The body of a youth missing from home three days ago was found on the river bank, the bike of the deceased was parked at some distance

Maharajganj (Azamgarh) The body of a youth was found on the banks of the small Saryu river behind a school in Akshayvat village of the local police station area on Wednesday morning, causing a sensation in the area.

When some people of the village saw the body at around 9:30 in the morning, they informed the police. When the police reached the spot and started identifying the body and investigating the incident, the deceased was identified as Vindeshwari Mishra, age about 40 years, son of late Ramnawal, resident of village Narottampur, police station Maharajganj. The relatives of the deceased told that he had gone to the market on Sunday evening where his mobile disappeared due to which he was very depressed. On Monday morning at around 10 o’clock, he left home on his bike without telling anything and has not returned home since then. He was mentally ill for some days. The relatives had not lodged any FIR. They searched but could not find anything.
Police said that in the initial investigation, no marks of any kind of injury were found on the body of the deceased. Some people in the crowd gathered at the spot said that he used to take drugs. His bike was found parked at some distance from the body.

The deceased has three daughters Anamika, Anshika, Shikki and a son Vinayak. After getting information about the incident, everyone was getting emotional due to the mournful cries of wife Neelam and children.

Police station in-charge Vinay Kumar Mishra said that further action will be taken on the basis of the post-mortem report and evidence obtained from the investigation.
