Kotwal Pramod Kumar Singh said that we should all help the poor, laborers, and needy around us on Diwali. By purchasing earthen lamps, we not only protect the environment but also provide light to the families of small potters and local artisans. This initiative generated enthusiasm among the people present. Many people came forward to purchase lamps from the poor shopkeepers, reaffirming the message of "Vocal for Local." People praised the Kotwali in-charge's humanitarian gesture, saying that if the police continue to engage in such outreach and social awareness activities, the spirit of mutual harmony and cooperation in society will be further strengthened.
घोसी।मऊ। दीपावली के पावन पर्व पर जहाँ लोग रोशनी और खुशियों में डूबे हुए हैं वहीं घोसी मऊ कोतवाल प्रमेंद्रकुमारसिंह ने इस त्योहार को स्वदेशी और सामाजिकसंवेदना से जोड़कर एक मिसाल पेश की। रविवार को उन्होंने मधुबन मोड़ पर मिट्टी के दीये बेच रहे गरीब दुकानदारों से सैकड़ों दीये खरीदे और लोगों को संदेश दिया कि त्योहार की असली खुशी तभी है जब समाज के निचले पायदान के चेहरे पर मुस्कान हो।
कोतवाल प्रमेंद्रकुमार सिंह ने कहा कि हम सभी को दीपावली पर अपने आस-पास के गरीबों, मजदूरों और जरूरतमंदों की मदद करनी चाहिए। मिट्टी के दीये खरीदकर न केवल हम पर्यावरण को सुरक्षित रखते हैं बल्कि छोटे कुम्हारों और स्थानीय शिल्पकारों के परिवारों को भी रोशनी देते हैं।
इस पहल से वहां मौजूद लोगों में उत्साह देखा गया। कई लोगों ने आगे बढ़कर गरीब दुकानदारों से दीये खरीदे और “वोकल फॉर लोकल” का संदेश दोहराया।
लोगों ने कोतवाली प्रभारी के इस मानवीय कदम की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि पुलिस यदि ऐसे जनसंपर्क और सामाजिक जागरूकता के कार्य करती रहे तो समाज में आपसी सद्भाव और सहयोग की भावना और भी मजबूत होगी।
