फिल्म की कहानी पूजा दीक्षित नाम की एक मासूम युवती के इर्द-गिर्द घूमती है, जिसकी शादी धोखे से बब्बन खान से हो जाती है। शादी के बाद उसका नाम बदलकर नगमा रख दिया जाता है और उसे पता चलता है कि उसके पति की पहले से दो पत्नियां हैं। यहीं से शुरू होती है आत्मसम्मान, संघर्ष और अन्याय के खिलाफ लड़ाई। कहानी तब और दिलचस्प हो जाती है जब तीनों महिलाएं मिलकर अपने अत्याचारी पति के खिलाफ खड़ी होती हैं।
मुग्धा गोडसे, कायनात अरोड़ा और जरीना वहाब ने अपने अभिनय से फिल्म को भावनात्मक गहराई दी है। लखनऊ और बनारस की वास्तविक लोकेशनों पर शूट हुई यह फिल्म दर्शकों को एक सशक्त सामाजिक संदेश देने में सफल रहती है।
